Had a call from this number yesterday afternoon, despite being TPS-registered.  Indian-sounding woman with 'English' name started off spiel about being a health centre - didn't let her get any further.  told her I was not interested and not to call my number again.  I'm concerned to read that a number of people, particularly elderly, believe these calls to be from the NHS or their doctor.  That is bad.

I have caller ID. when i get calls of this sort, I  add the number to my names list and give it the prefix 'Pest'.  This one is now listed as 'Pest Health'.  I also have a feature on my phone which allows me to voice-record a number of different ringtones.  Therefore all calls listed as  'Pest' variety on my names list now ring with the message:-"Nuisance caller warning!  Nuisance conman calling!"  Saves a lot of time and worry!

I got a call from an Asian gentleman whose English was poor, to say the least. Apparently he was conducting a "health survey" and was about to ask me questions about my health. I discontinued the conversation and dialled 1471 which is how I was able to get to Sanda Wellbeing. This time it was an Asian lady, again with unclear English. I tried unsucessfully to ascertain by whose authority their company was calling people to ask personal health questions, but I did not receive an intelligible response. Anyway, for what it's worth she agreed to put me on her "do not call" list.

Got a phone call a short time ago from Sanda Health & Wellness Centre asking questions about my health etc . and saying what a wonderful product Pomegranite Skin Supplement was and I should be taking it.  They said that they sold it at a very low price, which was not available in any Health Food Shops etc. and after the initial Indian person I spoke to was then transferred to a "Doctor" who went on to tell me the dosage etc and the length of time I should take it.  He tried to persuade me to order 8 months supply at great cost but he would give me four packets free.   When I asked where they were based I was told it was in Bexley, Kent but obviously I now realise they were based in a Call Centre in India, even though he was called Kevin.  Made a minimum order but on checking this website phoned up and cancelled it!   I am not normally fooled by these calls but having just had a blood pressure and cholesterol check thought it might be something to do with the NHS.

Beware, don't be fooled by their smooth talk!!

I had a call at 1.45 today and thought it was a health care survey and answered a whole load of questions for over ten minutes before I got an honest answer to my question...'Are you trying to sell me something?' Very hard indeed to get the truth but eventually the caller admitted they were trying to sell me pomegranite tablets for £11 for 30 and that I should take them for 8 to 10 months and then I wouldn't have to take any more again...hmmm...I told her that it was a waste of time and she/he, difficult to make out the gender with the accent and tone, said 'I hadn't wasted her time at all.' Put her/him right very quickly that it was my time she/he had wasted and there was no way I was buying anything from them...the call ended very quickly after that. The entire call was a soft soaping me in preparation to sell me this product and that is a con. Several times I asked if they were trying to sell me something and the person denied it each time until the last time and that's fraud.

my 80 year old mother received a cold call f rom this company.  she spoke to a 'doctor' who seemed to know about her health issues and eventually used her bank card to buy what she thought was some rosehip tablets for 11.99 which she was told was much cheaper than anywhere else.  Turns out they took £189 from her account.  Money which she could ill afford.  She usually knows not to deal with cold calls but because they seemed to have info about her health so she was fooled into conversation with them.

This is a total scam and we are reporting it to the police.  Others beware.

y husband has just received a telephone call from the Sanda Health Centre asking him information about his health. The caller wa an Indian sounding gentleman who recommended Rose Hip for a problem he has with his back. He said my husbasnd could get them at a reduced rate because he is a senior citizen.. Unfortunately I was not around at the time of the call. My husband is quite gullable and will listen to anyone who can help with his painful back. We do not intend sending any money especially fia a credit card when these tablets can be bouoght quite freely from any health shop in the country

My 76 year old Mum received a call from "Leighton" , she said he had a strong Indian accent, (didn;t realise this was an Indian name !!!!) asking her about aches and pains, and what medication she was on, she is very wary of these type of calls, and gets very worried easily. Our number is registered with TPS, but it doesn't appear to stop these calls

Reveceived a call acouple of days ago from and indian-sounding woman who identified herself as Sheryl.
Expecting it to be the usual 'company' offering to loan me money to pay off all my debts (never been in debt in all my 78 years!) - or wanting to fit plastic windows in my house (to replace the listed wooden sashes!) - or maybe simply another unintelligible call from India to hang up on - i was surprised when this person launched into what sounded like a Government survey on heath problems in pensioners.
Disappointed that I did not appear to have any of the usual problems for my age (having already established that I have five children and the ages of my five grandchidren!) this very friendly lady who seemed to have all the time in the world to spend on her phone, latched onto the fact that I used to suffer from stiff joints and started extolling the virtues of Pomegranite. I explained that I no longer suffer from stiff joints since I started taking 1500 mg of Glucosamine HCI daily and that if I wanted to take pomegranate I would get it from the same supplier. At this point I told her how marvellous my supplier of supplements is but of course she did not want to know - which is when I realised that I was not dealing with a Government survey caller.
I was then told that tablets only contained the seed of pomegranates and that all the value was in the skins and that she would send me some pomegranates from Sanda Wellness in Bexley, Kent but when she started gabbling on about sending them out and paying afterwards I told her what to do with her pomegranates and hung up on her.
I would like to 'get my own back'  on this person for having fraudulently wasted so much of my time by highly recommending my supplier  to anyone else out there - ZIPVIT is a marvellous ENGLISH company who provide high quality supplements -  guarantee the UK's lowest prices - free phone ordering on 0800 028 2875 and often next day delivery - look them up www.ZipVit.co.uk

My husband received a call today at 11.17am from a woman who asked about his health, and told him she could advise him on how best to stay healthy. He told her he already knew that, and she rang off. Just ANOTHER nuisance call, but it could have been expensive if he'd been taken in by her. This sort of telemarketing should be stopped - some of the most vulnerable elderly folk are actually paying over the odds for tablets from this company.

Had a call from this fellow, must admit I wouldn't have picked him as the stand-out candidate for tele-sales.  After about a 5 minute detour into the ICAO alphabet, embracing Whiskey Echo Lima Lima etc
I came to the conclusion that this slumdog would find it difficult to say  millionaire, never mind live the dream.  I got some pitch about cod-liver-oil, rose-hip and some other stuff (maybe snake-oil).  Anyway, this sliver tongued rogue asked me about my health: Arthritis:no, Rheumatism:no, Feebleness of mind:Er, um, I heard that, what?
Anyway he asked me my age (64, as in:when I'm) and asked me the secret of my good health and I said: smoking and drinking too much.  I heard some ruckus in the background (could be a laugh)  and he beat a hasty retreat.  But came back twice at me and her indoors.
I suspect we may be on some sucker list (my wife sometimes transacts on t'interweb) or some older-persons list (my wife is slightly older than me).  I get it, it's her.
I wonder if he deals in toxic substances to assist the passage of the elderly.  Must be cheaper than Dignitas.

This company SANDA WELLNESS website http://www.sandawellness.com/
is based in Buckingham.  They called my Mother on Friday and pressure sold her Rose Hip tablets for her arthritis.  They charged her debit card (they wouldn't accept a credit card because of the protection provided by the Consumer Credit Act) £153.00.  She could have bought the same number of identical tablets from www.healthydirect.co.uk for £25.99 with free postage.

Don't be fooled, any positive comments you see on this thread are being put here by Sanda Wellness company employees.  I have informed my local Trading Standards office of this and you all should do the same - then together we might get some action taken against this unpleasant company.  There is no worse crime in my book than conning those in our society who are the most vulnerable and least able to protect themselves.

I received amessage from Lily (Asian lady) on Monday Aug 10, who gave the impression she was a Health Care Manager. She asked many questions about my health and offered advice. I strung along with her for 30 minutes and it became apparent that she would want to sell me something, it turned out to be RoseX for £12.95.  When I refused to give my card details over the phone she said the offer was only for that day in my area and needed a decision right away, eventually giving me until  Thursday to contact her.  I have looked up Rosehip tablets and the price is no more expensive elsewhere (She said I would have to pay £30/40 !!)
I am now going to send an email to tell them not to call again.

My mother in law of 83 was called 5 times by an indian sounding man saying that he had a cure tablet for arthritus which my mother in law suffers from. The man asked for her credit card details each time but she said that her son had the card. The man called again the next day still asking for her credit card details.  I rang BT to get the cold selling stopped. I then rang the company and told the lady that she better tell the salesman REX to stop calling her which i think shocked her as she didnt know what to say. By the way I didnt whisper. So far no more calls.

I had a call from an Indian sounding lady called Walter! She asked me questions about my health and particularly about Joint pain and arthritis.  I became alarmed as to how she had got certain info about me. She asked if I took painkillers and I admitted that I took Paracetmaol & diclofenac - she said they would cause liver damage.   I was sort of interested since I do have a very painful knee at present.  Anyway the call went on and on (possibly because I'm quite hard of hearing and) she/he had a terrible accent and gabbled on about things I didn't really understand!  I then asked if she was selling something and asked the name of her company and name of product and How much!.  Whilst she was speaking I 'googled' Sandawellness and Rosehip and Gopal and soon worked out that she was selling 'supplements'.   As it happened I had an appointment to se e an NHS Physiotherapist this afternoon so after making notes about everything she said I asked the Physio what he thought..  He said that he would put the phone down if anyone rang him asking those kind of personal questions and that I should have done the same.  He also said that there is no problem about me taking the tablets especially as my Doctor had prescribed them.  He also said that it's always best to ask my GP before I take supplements or over the counter drugs.  The woman called Walter did ring me back 3 or 4 times offering me a reduction in price  to be given for today only after I said "no thanks" and hung up
