- Furious in Cumbria| 1 replyMy elderly mother received a cold call to their private landline despite having the Telephone Preference Service. She is a Parkinson's sufferer and Sandawellness managed to persuade her to purchase a month's supply of a rosehip supplement for (30 tablets) £12.00. When the parcel arrived they had sent her 30 boxes and debited her card for £365.50, without her knowledge or permission.
We have just had a very heated telephone conversation with an Asian man calling himself 'Rocky Young' who claimed to be a senior manager. This man refused to credit my mother's account until we had returned the goods - we will wait to see what happens.
Rocky refused to let me speak to anyone more senior and claimed that he was speaking to me from a UK telephone number, but I do not believe it for a second.
The only information I could glean was that the managing director is a man called Ajit Patel.
This company should be avoided at all costs.- Caller: Sandawellness

- Goff in CambsGot a call from this number and they said they were this Wellbeing outfit. Asked if I had any aches and pains, arthritis etc (which I do), said they could help me by giving me (later selling me !) some Rosehip Syrup, which I might be able to buy in the shops but for about £50. Lots of flattery, asked me my age and was amazed that I was 63, and they said I only sounded in my 40s. Told me they would send me some syrup and it would do me good, and wouldn't cost me as much as in the shops (see above). I said thank you very much but I am quite happy with my treatment from NHS and it is `under control' and I am very active: I said I doubted that the syrup would cost as much as they said (for how big a bottle I wonder ??) and I would go and have a look, goodbye and thanks for calling. I suppose they must get people's numbers from some official list, or one of the registered authorities like NHS or hospitals (who no doubt get paid for such information). Perhaps they get your number from companies you might volunteer to do trials for ? I hope not.

- Goff in Cambs replies to Marjorie Bull| 2 repliesThat's a good one, tell them you are deaf and can't hear them . Or say just a minute I've left something on the stove and put the phone down on a table and go for a walk or watch telly for half an hour. They won't be there when you pick it up again ! Don't ever worry about being rude to them, THEY are being rude by trying to sell you something over the phone. They are invading your space and privacy. And ask them where they got your number from: bet they won't tell you. Just say, `sorry not interested' and PUT THE PHONE DOWN.
BY THE WAY, SOMETIMES THEY READ THESE COMMENTS, but don't worry about it. YOU are in charge, THEY are trying to selling you something, and they have no right to pester you. It's like people rattling a charity tin at you, IT IS NOT ALLOWED> - GG replies to Goff in Cambs| 1 replyHad a call from Sanda Wellness centre of Bexley (or somewhere like this. They tried to sell me rosehip supplement after asking loads of questions. The Indian lady did give me some good advice about blood pressure controi but I put her off from selling to me when I said I didn't have my credit card to hand. I asked her to phone me back tomorrow, to give myself the chance to do some research. Having seen the posts on here, I am (un)happy that it is just another high pressure cold calling scam. II am TPS registered but it obviously didn't help

- JohnJust after 19.00 today my Wife answered a call in which an Indian sounding male asked for her by name. Having confirmed several times that she was Mrs Morris, she has a deep voice, she became agitated and eventually hung up after telling the caller that he was trying to sell her something.
As she replaced the receiver, caller rang again, this time I answered and asked who he was, who the company was and how they got our ex directory number. the caller told me his name was Roy Kate (?) and that his company was Sanda Wellness based in Bexley Heath. They were conducting a health survey as it was World Health Week and they wanted to find out as much about peoples health as possible.
When asked how they got our number he replied that they had obtained it from a telephone number vendor which I clarified as a seller of telephone number lists.
I also explained that, should I or my wife wish to discuss medical matters with anyone it would be with our doctor and not some stranger over the telephone. He then said that we would not get anymore calls which, from what I have read here, I doubt.- Caller: Sanda Wellness

- mickey| 2 repliesHi my age is 21.Just wanted to know if this product called ROSEX sold by sandawellness can be used by young people??
- Caller: sandawellness
- Hopkins replies to mickeyYES,these products can be used by the young too.I had unending aching joints when I was in college. I was an active member of the student union and my gruelling schedule demanded me to be highly active all the time. I was suggested several products by doctors to help me get rid of my aching joints and win back the ability to move free without dependence on anyone. I tried on a various products but the only product which was really helpful was ROSEX.
My priority was crystal clear and I wanted a 100% natural joint relief which was minus any side effects. So I chose this supplement to get rid of my aching joints. The composition of rosex was unique as it contained specialized rosehip powder in a capsule form and gave me quick relief from joint pains.
I am very happy with the results and would recommend rosex anytime of the year for easy and quick joint relief action. Thanks to Sandawellbeing :) - murphy replies to TaraI myself got a call some months back and thought it was a scam and dint believe them initially. But when they started speaking about my health and had complete insight about me I thought it was genuine. Its in a way simpler that you don’t have to give your details since they already know it. They knew exactly what I was suffering from and suggested me the right products. Going to a doctor or any specialist would have costed me way more.
- Dolly| 2 repliesMy elderly mother received 20 boxes of Rosehip and her account was debited of £260. I contacted the company and they asked for the items to be returned to refund her. Has anyone returned the items and received a refund?
- Lisa replies to DollyHey Dolly. I cant really recollect but I had heard that some months back someone had the same issue and he got it back without any trouble. I would suggest you to directly go to the company’s given address. You can return your bought products and take the refund hand in hand. That would be safer and would not cause any type of problem. - Roger replies to GGHey, don’t go by the posts. See for yourself, find out about the company Sandawellbeing, there is a lot of information available on the internet (including the site).
- JulieMy mother in law took a call from these people - a very stong foreign accent that mentioned the NHS. Naively she gave them her card details for a payment of over £80 for some blood pressure tablets. She is on the TPS but still got the call. She tried to block the payment immediately but was unsucesful, resulting in her having to block her card for any future payments and being without access to her money for a few days as she lives in a village a few miles from anywhere. I rang them and asked for names and how they sell to people. A very strong accented lady told me she was called 'Jennifer Smith' - make your own minds up.......
Though their products may work, it once again the marketing techniques that should be questioned and altered.- Caller: Sanda Wellness
- SAMMICK| 1 replyMy mother has been called by an American so-called-doctor claiming he knows all about her stomach complaints and offering her rose hip treatments. He was on the phone for over 40 minutes asking her questions and claiming the so-called-surgery was in Kent and did she want a holiday there? My mother is not elderly nor mentally impaired. It was a company called sandawellness.com. Someone must be able to give me more information. I am a worried daughter!
- Veronica replies to SAMMICKHii Sammick, need not worry. What you can do is you can visit the company or log onto its site and get to know it well. There are various products and therapies which are used for body maintenance and revival. I think after seeing it all you will be in a better position to make the right decision.
