rang me. said not interested and hung up. dont know if it was a coincidence or not but i couldent use my
house phone or computer all night.just got an engaged tone everytime i picked up the phone to try and dial
out.around 10.15 it came back on. made me wonder if he was on 2-10 shift.will be ringing talk talk tommorow to complain

Received call from 'Amanda' Asian sounding voice, can't believe I was taken in by her, then I read about them on the internet - how stupid am I?

Mitzie called and  said she was ringing from a Well-being clinic. I thought it was an NHS survey . She gave her address as 32 Ball Moor     Celtic Court    Buckingham   MK18  1RQ     Licence number   6377623....she gave me an  ID number 16182,,,,,she wanted to sell me pomegranite tablets for good health,,,her voice changed from deep to high, half-way through the conversation. She wanted my bank card details over the phone, and would not take no for an answer . I said I do not give my details out over the phone. She was persistant, and I had to hang-up. She rang back, and my husband picked up the phone and she hung-up. We did a 1471 to find the caller number    0208 619 0746

Yet another phone call from the Sanda Wellness Centre.  Complain to TPS. Perhaps if they get enough complaints about this company they will act.  TPS does seem like putting the prisoners in charge of the jail.

I always have my answer machine on.  aT 17.14, I received an unintelligible message, so I rang 1471, obtaining this number. I always check the number from "strange" calls: they are a nuisance but manageable.  Of course, those who are vulnerable to scams need protection: why isn't something done?

Called several times when I have been out. Never left a message.  When I dialed the number I received a message saying 'Number unobtainable.'  I never answer any personal questions over the phone making it quite clear that, as I do not know them, and their call is unsolicited, and I am supposed to have a block on 'cold calling' I am not prepared to talk to them.  I then ring off.

Call came at 15:58. Got some info. Waman had a thick Asian/indian accent and said she was calling from India - however later 1471 revealed calling numb er as 02086190746

She said she was calling on behalf of Wellness Centre, 32 balmoral, Celtic Court, Buckingham, MK18 1RQ and their phone is 02086190075.

Said the call was about natural supplements such as cod liver oil. Said "it" is registered with UK Law, Legal registration No: 6377623. Could not get out of her who this is supposed to be registered with - she simply did not understand that in order to be registered a firm (or whatever) has to be registered WITH someone.

Kinda got bored with it then so wished her a good day and rang off. Then reported the call to TPS.

Only had these calls since joining TalkTalk and then finding  out that they sell on your details to " carefuly selected third party companies " , even when these poeple stop calling it starts all over again with other companies that they sell your infomation on to.
All the unwanted calls i get seem to come from India where talktalk have call centers.

How did you get my number?

We regularly buy databases of prospects from data vendors for our telemarketing campaigns. The data records that we receive from the data vendors are purely restricted to the following details:-
a) Name.
b) Address including Postcode.
c) Telephone number.

Other than the above information we don't acquire any other personal information about the customer. When we buy data we give strict guidelines to the data vendor to only supply us with people who have agreed to / welcome telephone calls for marketing purposes. We respect the privacy of prospects and go further than most to prevent them being called without their permission or their approval.

I am registered with TPS, why are you still calling me?

The data of records acquired for telemarketing purposes are strictly vetted according to the following process at our end before any calls are made to the data.
a) All records are screened against TPS and EX- directory to ensure data compliance
b) Any complaint against unsolicited calls is taken with the upmost seriousness and all details are immediately suppressed and deleted from our system.
c) All the data that we acquire or buy is a one-time use data and is only kept if the prospect has told us to call them or arrange a follow up or raised no objection in us calling them and seems interested in our products.

I am constantly getting phone calls from a male with an Indian accent, who says he's from Wellness. What upsets me is that he asks for me by name, yet my phone number is ex-directory.
Having read comments from others who have a similar experience I shall no longer answer any calls from this Tel.No.

I had a call from this company today. Lady said she was called 'Cheryl' but had a very strong Asian accent. this appears to be the latest ploy to try and throw you off the fact its a Mumbai call centre. the operators all now say they have English-sounding names! Said she was calling from SandaWellness Clinic and asked me lots of questions about my health, age, family, medications I take etc. She then went on to warn me of the dangers of taking the prescribed statins and the effects they had on my bones! She then went on - and on - and on- about the benefits of Pomegranate skin! After about 10 minutes I lay the phone down and walked away into another room, going back after about 5 minutes to find she had gone silent. I returned the receiver to its rest but within seconds she rang back - I declined to answer - googled the number and found this website. Following Nick's advice I called the Customer Service number and requested my details be removed from their database. Another 'Asian' sounding chappie said he has now removed my details which should take effect in 24 hours. Lets hope so!

Just had a call from someone asking about my health. Told her my health is somethin I discuss with my doctor and put the phone down. Looked up Sanda Wellness and Sanda Wellbeing. Found a listing in India

Called enquiring about my health. Denied any knowledge of TPS even when I threatened her with a £1,000 fine.  This company trade from this address. ans have a head office in Kent.

Indian sounding lady - hard to understand.  
After asking her to tell me the name and location of her organisation I told her I have been on the TPS list for many years. so she was breaking UK law and I would report her to the authorities and then put the phone down.  

Using 1471 gave her number as 044 208 619 0746 - which indicates that she may be calling from overseas, not from the UK

20 minutes on phone , would not take no for an answer- I then put phone down.

Be aware everyone. 'They' whoever they are, have now migrated to scamming using the Ministry Of Justice scam.
Phone call asking for my wife by name. She couldnt understand his strong Indian accent.
I took the phone and asked who it was and what did they want.
All I could understand was some BS name 'David Ward' claiming he was from the Ministry Of Justice and that my wife was owed £3,500. I put the phone down dialled 1471 and the 'number that came up was 02081331714.
I phoned it and got a Nigerian sounding woman who claimed she was from the Central Accounts Office but funnily enough couldnt put me through to David Ward MMMMM.
I then phoned the National Fraud Dept 03001232040 who confirmed it was indeed a scam and that although I hadnt given any bank details, actually calling the number back could be a fake premium Rate number so now I have a crime number.
PLEASE PLEASE. All they want is to 'confirm' you are real then they constantly bombard you.
If you want to tell them that your 'friend' Detective Roberts from the National Fraud Dept wants to chat...that normally stops them for at least a few days. Also conteact your phone supplier to bar all witheld numbers although this wont stop international numbers rerouted through a fake London Exchange.
