All the same as above I too got scammed this morning, That was my oil money. Well all I can say is what goes around comes around. They say crime doesn't pay, I wonder who thought that one up. My sympathies to all you guys who like me have been scammed.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO GIVE YOUR DETAILS TO THIS SO CALLED COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM AND THE GUY CHRIS BUTLER CAN CONVINCE YOU SO WELL WITH HIS CHARM BUT PLEASE BELIEVE ME YOU WILL NOT HEAR FROM ANYONE INTERESTED IN YOUR VEHICLE.UNFORTUNATELY MY ELDERLY AUNT WAS CONNED. OH YES THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE SOMEONE INTERESTED IN YOUR CAR ETC... AND ONCE YOU PART WITH YOUR HARD EARNED CASH ITS TOO LATE THEY HAVE IT ALL WELL TIMED AND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE SO WELL DONE THAT NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK YOU CANT.I DONT THINK THESE GUYS HAVE A CONSCIENCE. HOW WOULD THEY LIKE THIS TO HAPPEN TO VULNERABLE MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILY. THIS HAS TO BE STOPPED!!!!!!

Same here, I put an add on cbg and got a call from Andy the next day telling me that old same story and giving me a hard time, I almost felt for it until I spoke about it to some friends at work who told me that was a scam. I'm so glad I didn't go for it after reading all this. This guy is a very very persistent person so be careful, he didn't even know my name and car details etc..when I call back that miss call, I should never have called back that number! He also left me a very nasty voice mail and calling me back on a private number etc..

This is a scam, do not fell for it!!!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I PUT MY CAR WITH THEM 2 MONTHS AGO. NO CALLS AND NO REFUND AFTER 28 DAYS AS PROMISED. I CALLED MY VISA CARD PROVIDER AND THEY MANAGED TO GET THE MONIES BACK. IF ANYBODY DOES GET STUNG BY THESE COWBOYS KEEP HASTLING UR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. THEY CAN FIGHT THE TRANSACTION. ALSO INFORM YOUR LOCAL TRADING STANDARDS AND THEY WILL ALSO INVESTIGATE THE CLAIM FOR YOU.

WE SHOULDNT LET THESE SCAMMERS GET AWAY WITH THIS!!

Just got a call from these cowboys. My thinking is "if it sounds too good to be true, generally, it is!" I think i frustrated the shite out of him cause he eventually asked if he should call someone else instead, told him no, callback later, i'm at work. I'll take their calls and stonewall them as long as i can. They're calling me from the UK, i'm on a mobile in Ireland so it COSTS THEM MONEY!!!!!! Enough of this from us and it'll start to hit them in the pocket.

ha ha. these guys tried to get me to. they say they have people which want my car and want to pay more than i want for it. they wanted £129.99 to confirm the sale and i'd get it back on the sale. i knew it was to good to be true thats why i did my research. so glad i found this site. thanks guys

I have received a call today 29th July 2009 from Dean West on the same phone number claiming like all you above that he has a buyer for my car, I just need to give him my debit card and he'll do the rest including £129 for his services, I remembered something about service charges and scams and decided to google him, well surprise surprise thanks guys you stopped me from making a huge mistake, I have posted a complaint on Viva street website alerting them to this scam hopefully they can block him off.

This Chris guy is still active and tried to contact me regarding a car I advertised for sale privately - thankfully I found this website first and I am giving him a wide berth

just hope im not too late! i also got call from these guys with same guarantees of buyers in ireland for my car within 7 days or my money back.was very sceptical and told him ring me back at 2 same day.tried to ring back his number in between and no answer whatsoever.he rang back at 2 exactly and when i said i could not contact anybody he said this was highly unusual.i asked him for name of website and told him i would have a look and ring him back at 2.10.i looked at site and decided i would give it a try.rang back at 2.10 and he answered immediately,gave my visa details and asked would i sent pics of car by e mail.he said this would help.sent pics and then rang to tell him and again no answer whatsoever,tried many times.rang visa and said i do not want this transaction to go ahead and they advised me try to cancel it with easyselluk.have sent emails trying to do this and trying to ring but no answer.have printed my e mails and will try ringing again tommorow first thing,i consider this f...d and will do whatever i can to stop payment.

It took a while but I got two viewings through this company, I got knocked down on the price, they promised no knock downs but im glad my car sold in the end

just had a call, same as all the above, I smelled a rat when he asked me to part with 129.99 and then said they had emailed me the ts and cs already last week, funny as I only setup the advert this morning.

Got the same call. Told them where to go. What a joke...

Had a missed call on my mobile from a guy called Chris asking me to call him about my advert for my motorhome.  Rang the number but Chris wasn't available so spoke to a guy named Dean.  Similar  to all the above, they guaranteed to sell my vehicle within 28 days or my money back.  When asked for my Credit or Debit card number I informed them I did not have a Debit or Credit card (I lied!!) and when they heard that they quickly finished the conversation.  I then googled the phone number and found your website and realised that what I had thought (it's some sort of scam!!) was correct.

I just had the same very call. Easysell.co.uk or sumink! What bas******** con merchants! dont listen... He hung up on me cause he said i was confusing him haha!!!

I also had a few calls from this asked them to send me an email and tried to find website!! Nothing of course. They said exactly the same to me. I said i'd sell my car myself with out there help - there reply was 'good luck' very sarcastically. Nice guys ha ha!! These lot should be on watch dog!!

Got a call from Chris Butler this afternoon.Something sounded fishy,so i did some research.Thank goodness i put in the tel number and this site came up.He is defenatly up to his old tricks! Cant wait for him to call me back in the morning so i can him to $%^&* off

I am selling a Harley Davidson Sportster (advertised on various free ad sites) I got a call while I was driving (hands free set of course)but the call sound quality was rubbish, so I didn't get a name. However he said he was from "Easy Sell". Told me that he had someone was interested in my "Davidson" (Anyone who knows anything about Harleys knows that are referred to as Harleys not Davidsons. Which set the alarm bells ringing). The deal was that the buyer was willing to pay me £300 over my asking price because the caller had looked the bike up and found I'd undervalued it. (It is a customised bike, so there is no such thing as a book price for it). He needed £168 from me to guaruntee that I would be able to show the buyer the bike that evening, and that the bike was in the condition I had said it was. I told him to [***], I wasn't stupid enough to part with any money up front. Interesting to read the results of a little research. (No offence intended to anyone who was conned into parting with cash).

got a call from cris on the way home from work saying that he would be able to sell my car at a higher price than i wanted. thankfully i google the number and read what people had said. when chris phoned back i didnt answer as i new it was a scam. He phoned again the next day and when i said i had sold the car and that my son was dealing with things he got angry and wanted to speak to my son and thank him for contacting me and put the phone down. He phoned me back and my boss answered, he said that i was rude and my boss went along with it as i was sitting next to her. I am hoping that i dont here from him again. hopefully he wont but i will go to the police the next time he phones.....
