Got a call last night at 2245 EST. Didnt answer.

Have no idea who it was, but weird everyone is gatting the same thing.

Hi I also got phone from this call missed it..so called back..same thing.. Fax tone and I guess at the same time when they rang on my phone they rang on land line as it was almost the next cal...
What is it..It's starge & annoying

its a number that comes up on australian phones when someone rings you from another country using a calling card!!

when i try calling back, it looks like its a fax number

This number has just tried calling my number three times in succession. I tried to call back on a different line and just got engaged signal.

Its a dating number. You or someone you know has signed you up to this.
Whenever you get a message on this dating website this number calls you to let you know you have messages.

hey pplz its ok, its not a scam, my boy calls me on this number and his overseas, so its an overseas number ...

It seems this is a number allocated to callers using VOIP so any zillion number of scammers could be calling you, it doesn't belong to anyone person in particular

I got 5 missed called from this number when I left my phone in the car. Left lengthy voicemails that just sounded like background noise except for a freaky voice saying "heeeellloooo". When I called back the number was apparently disconnected. Really freaked me out!

Just got a call (10:30pm Brisbane)

I could barely understand him, very thick accent. He had my first and last name and read me my mobile number..

I work with a lot of people internationally, so thought it was someone from my firm.. Kept asking me for a fax number and I asked what for - "business proposal"

Told him to get lost and hung up. Pretty much rang me back straight away, kept asking for fax number.. told him I'm not interested in his 419 scam - he sounded startled and did not call back. Possibly Nigerian scammer.

As others have mentioned, it's most likely a VoIP outdial line, so there is probably legitmate calls from this number too.

I got a call from this no, when I rang it back, it said incorrect number. Always early in the morning, most annoying

Missed call received at 09:13 Western Australian time. I called back, messaged from Optus the number you have dialled has been disconnected.

Strange, has I returned the call within 20 seconds from missed call.

Got this call moments ago. Weird Indian man calling from India saying he got my number from Rebecca.
i googled this number and found this site! Seems like it is a call centre doing the rounds.

Have had a call from that number as well. He is a internet romance scammer.
Be careful. They are very well "groomed" for taking people's money.
He told me he is in the UK for business, well [***]!

called back to hear the number was disconected.im in adelaide.

just received a call on this number - was from my mother calling my Australian mobile from her UK calling card service.

this is an international call, someone overseas wants to speak to you.
