I just got a missed call from this same number to my mobile and then on our office phone. Was busy so couldn't answer. No message was left, thought that was weird so googled the number to see who it may be and ended up here.

Really weird, dodgy feeling. Tried to call back was engaged then read here that it may sign you up for some [***] scam so not going to call again!

The number phoned us at 3:10 pm on a Saturday arvo but it has happened before.

Received a call from this number and have no idea who it was.  Tried to call back but got the busy signal.  I wont bother again but it is very annoying

i've come traveling in australia from the uk, and every night for the 1st week i had a call from this number on my uk mobile. so annoying but didnt answer it as know it would probably cosst me loads. funny how lots of people on here are saying their getting it to in australia. how does anyone know im here, and also know my uk mobile number!?

I got a call from this number 02 8209 4700 and it was engadeged it was like its a automatic phone dialling system! it called me at 11:28 pm and then again at 5.25 am this morning 17 September 2010! WTF who is this?

Today at 2.45pm in Canberra, this number rang me (on my mobile) and sounded like some daft stupid Indian accent and I just said Hello the once, they muttered something which sounded like they were Indian and I stayed silent....and I could hear whispering in the background but not able to hear what was being said. Then they hung up. Stupid idiots.
Googled the number and landed here!!

Same.. I got it.. at melbourne.. probably its international call..

its an outbound number from an indian call centre working for an australian company. they use voip services with a dummy australian number as the caller id

i call australia my number came out this 0282094700

does this website actually answer "who calls me" or simply a place to vent ones annoyance at being called by a number.

Received a call from this number today like 3 times. I didnt answer. If it is a scam they will be recorded so I dont care

I was called twice by this number last night at 2:45AM. I then received an sms from +2348133797906 saying I'd won some sms lotto. My bet is that it's a number dialer to check that there is a phone on the other end and once it's established that then you get spammed.

We tried to sell a car and got a higher bid from JASON O. GRANT - e-mail: teminitie@gmail.com

Bottom line is he tried to get us to pay agents fees to details below.

someone rang me from this number  at12.38 midnight i don't know who is that ? i m depressed, i want to who was that also i m trying this no. but now this numble not available...........

I've also gotten calls from this number several times, the last call being some soft spoken woman that left an unintelligble message on my voicemail

I got a call twice today from this number and i answered wondering who would call me from NSW, im in QLD. There was no sound coming from the other end so i hung up! Havnt tried calling back but it was recieved at 7:35am.

Hi All,
I have been receiving calls from this number for the last 3-4 years at really odd times, The first few times I answered this calls it was from A,M.I(Advanced Medical Institute).
Thats when I saved this name to the number in my phone and ever since have stopped answering their calls after thier name shows up. I started receiving calls after I opted out of AMI knowing that were a complete fraud, the telemarketers tried convincing me that they were doctors and were looking to solve the problem.
Hope this solves some of the suspense for a few of you.

I received a call from this number, knowing who my caller was, as far as I knew he was a soldier serving in Bahgdad, Iraq. He is in fact a scammer AND i've also traced the ip address for the email I received from this man. The location of the ip address is Ghana!!
