It's a scam. All those saying it's not a scam on here are clearly fake people posted by someone who works for the scammers. I don't own a a tv and never have. My address doesmt either yet they phoned my mobile which I ignored. You don't get called about being in arrears on a tv license anyway. If your dumb enough to believe that u deserve to het scammed!

ANNOYED! But people are saying it's TV Licencing well their free phone number starts with 0300, and I was late on a payment so TV Lic makes sence but am not returning the call!

I keep getting calls from them. It must be costing a fortune to ring my mobile a few times a week.  They have been told that they will be paid in full at the end of the month, but they don't seem to note this on their screens.

Received a call today, 14.09pm, no response when i answered so hung up. If TV Licensing then they need to upgrade their Customer Service training. Will not be calling them back.

This is T.V Licensing it's the recovery part if you have no TV License or if you haven't been consistent in your payments they then ring you and ask if you can make a payment via direct debit etc.

Yes tv licensing. I had a text a week ago saying I owe them money which I do £12.12.
Iv paid yesterday which isn't obviously on their system.

My truecall unit intercepted this call so I answered it. A lady answered and asked for my account details. I reminded her that she had called me and I had no idea who she was or what she wanted. She said that she was from TV licencing and asked for my postcode. When I asked her why she was calling she said she had no idea as the dept who was dealing with me was closed. Again I reminded her that they called and I was suspicious. She said that she was unable to get my details and asked if I would call back tomorrow. I refused reminding her that I had no reason to phone and if they wanted me they could phone me back. I also asked her where she got my ex directory number from and she was unable to answer that either. It was all very strange. Anyway, the number has been blocked by my truecall unit so I  will have no more funny calls from them.

I have been having countless phone calls from this number, every day for over a week now asking for a Mrs Hopkirk. Everytime i tell them they have the wrong number if they phone again and I answer I shall be very angry.

I have a debt of 17 60 I have calls everyday early morning and evening plus on Sundays and letters for that amount

It's not a scam or rubbish!It's T.v Licensing.
I'm 2 weeks behind on my payment plan......they rang to remind me and check all is ok.It's now paid and sorted.
Just pay it and they won't ring you!
