itis tv licensing, had to cancel my direct debit the other day so they phoned to set it back up.

I think thats who it is..they want me to set up a new direct debit according to a letter i received today but that was apparently set up when i paid my last bill over the phone..why do they give us so much work when its them who wants the money? hey ho....

I have a TV Licence, i pay by dierect debit and it gets paid every month, yet i keep getting these phonecalls, no reply, just hangs up straight away, verging on harrassment now

No its not otherwise google would have come up with it. An i got a call from it today and that's not a fact because i've got all those things set up

don't know who it is. but i've been told in the past from call centre's that they ring your number and after a set time it just hangs up and goes to the next number the only time they actually pick up is when they hear a voice. which i think is quite intrusive, and should be banned because how many people have to put up with that

Got a call, they asked for my ex husband, then it disconnected. How would they, whoever it was have my mobile number?

If I want to do anything about PPI then I'll call a firm and deal with it. I do not need calls all day long from firms wanting to do it for me. If they were any good at their job surely they wouldn't have to tout like this for work.

For that, they can wait another fortnight before I consider paying them.

My advice to get rid of foreign harrassment calls is buy a whistle, they soon stop calling.

We have a tv license, and always have paid incidentally by direct debit. Is their any way I can stop these calls. They usually occur at about 9.30 am, and when I answer the call, I do not hear a voice, and after about 30 seconds the the call is disconnected.

They are trick masters and try to get all the details from you as possible. Once they get the details I am not sure what they will do but it seems risky please do not answer the call
