0301

These pests keep calling me over the last few weeks, alot of the time, I`ve avoided answering as had already looked on here, and discovered who they was.

Twice yesterday, and three times today, asking to speak to my husband, 2nd time, I finally answered just had enough,  I said Please don`t call me again.
Suprise - suprise, an hour later he calls again this time, asks to speak to me.
I said Don`t ever call me again, I`m sure he swore at me or something like that, just as I was hanging up.

Indian accent. First call - hung up when I asked for a manager.  Second call - got stroppy when I explained I was reporting them to the Telephone Preference Agency.  If you google the company - debt advice bureau - it appears to be an offical looking site and there's even a page to report nuisance calls. They even explain that people are using thier name, however that could be a con as well!!

I spoke to the lovely Sunil this morning for about 20 minutes.  This is the first time I have spoken to anyone as they usually hang up as soon as I answer.  He asked for a name I had never heard of (have lived at my address for over 8 years).  The most I could get out of him was that he was calling using an internet phone (which may explain the 4 digit number).  He told me that the company (Debt Management) was based in Leicester, but he was calling from India.  He couldn't give me either the name of the firm's director, nor the address, phone number or email (funny that). He gave me a website address (www.ipa.co.uk) which turns out to be a website for marketing companies.  He told me that because I had answered the phone, they wouldn't be calling again (yeh, right).  I have reported the calls already, but obviously it hasn't worked, although this is the first call I have had for a long time.  Lets hope there is a way to block these calls soon.

0301 ID. got caller display.....know now to ignore these call, have been ringing for months,conversation starts like:- can i speak to a Mr Vodrey, which ive told them on numberous occasions has never lived at this address... oh well er er ...im calling with regards to a goverment back scheme that can rid of all your debts for free.... put phone down after that. next time they ring im going to say West Yorkshire Police or Leeds City Mortuary.. hopefully they will take the number of the calling list

LOOKED ON THE DOWNING STREET PETITIONS WEBSITE - DIDNT SEE ANYTHING ON THERE TO SIGN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM!! ( did find a couple of other irritating things to sign instead though!!)
I have had about 4 calls a day for weeks now - Its driving me MADDDDDDDDDDD. Im at home all day and have 5 children out and about, I have to run to look who is calling...over and over and over ARGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

I was called twice by these monkeys today, first time there was no answer just silence, second time there was some asian gentleman telling me about consolidating my debt, i told him i was rich and that i didnt need any debts consolidating *well thats kind of a lie but who gives a toss* and he said oh is there any cars telephones i was like na na na na don;t you get it ive got money. He said sorry i said bye.

The only way for them never to ring back is to be a nasty person to them :)

Caller is Indian male, if I answer they ask for Mrs Webb, if my boyfriend answers its Mr Webb.  Have had 2 calls today and they ring most evenings

had several calls from this number and they hang up every time...i know afew people who have had the same...its sooo annoying..

0301 keeps ringing at much the same time every day asking to speak to the previous occupant. If it continues much longer this will be harassment. Is there any way of getting rid of them for good?

Started receiving calls from 0301 a few weeks ago, but only occasionally, and usually screened by the answer machine. Today I was working from home when the caller-ID showed 0301 so I was interested to see who it was -  and got the same asian sounding caller as others on this forum report (wish I'd Goggled this before!). Told him the line was registered with TPS and he got annoyed and hungup.

Received a missed call from this number 2day, tried callin it back but it didnt even ring. Hate these calls!!!

I have had to calls today from the o301 number and again an indian man asking me about debts that I might add I do not have. Do not give any details to any one .

this number just called me twice. I asked them if the number 3031 was there number and he hung up on me. We should all buy a whistle and blow it down the phone at him, or maybe a foghorn is in order!

I have had the same problem for the last six weeks,and no matter how much I scream and shout at them they just wont go away. I am now concerned as people are saying they are being charged for the call,I cannot understand how that can happen. I have also had silent calls,it is blatant harassment,and something has to be done about these people.

i been getting 1- 2 calls from this number aday plus 3-4 in the evenings. i carnt block it either. getting way passed a joke now. I signed up to that site thats ment to stop people getting your number, over year ago guess it doesnt work either ><

person with indian accent phoned our landline this evening - my daughter could not initially hear who he was asking for and said "sorry WHO?" then I heard her say "he's dead" and she burst into tears.  The caller had asked for my husband who passed away nearly 2 years and and hung up without even an apology.  I dialled 1471 and the number given was 0301.  Damn them.

i never answer the phone to unexpected or unknown numbers. i am ex directory and banned withheld numbers but cant seem to stop these numbers ringin all day every day

buy a whistle and next time they call just answer dont speak just blow whistle hard lol
thats how my mum got rid of an unwantd call years ago
they wont fone bk if they get a loud whistle in the ear lol
i am so fed up of these calls and as usual my phone company dont help

I have recieved 11 calls in 24hrs from this number, i have never been in debt in my life so why they call me to consolodate my debts is beyond me, having read previous posts i would say VIRGIN are the ones who passed over my number....
They will not give up....

Had call from 0301 yesterday started off with myself asking for his name b4 he even had chance to say goverment debt, his name made me laugh Lee Cooper brand of jeans next his manager came on what was his name Levi anyway i got really abusive gettig sick of these calls he then informed me that his legal team will be in touch as i my bad language wasnt tollerated me f**ing an jeffing he got off lightly in my books.So today has been no phone call have they got hint prob not these muppets dont have a backbone.
