It seems that this scam came back again after silent for almost 1 year. I received a call from this number at 12,40pm on 26/4/2013. The guy claimed that he is Inspector Wong Peng Teck from Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department. Firstly he confirmed my name and IC and asking me whether I have any credit card in Maybank or Citibank. He told me the same story and asking me whether I know Yap Chun Hong and Lam Hong Heng who is involved in the  money laundering by using my account in Hong Kong. Then he asked me to Mr. Loh Keong，from Hong Kong Police Station in Mongkok at 852-68850844 to clarify this. This so call Inspector told me that his police station  is in Block D 6th floor room 4 located opposite the Pudu jail. He gave me his personal phone number 016-7977856 after I called Hong Kong. 10 minutes later he called me back and asked whether I have called Hong Kong Police Station. I told him that I did not call as i have not been to Hong Kong for the past 2 years. In addition, it is unlikely that bank in Hong Kong can allow Foreigner to open a call without my present and original passport. I told him that I have passed this case to my friend which is an inspection in IPD Ipoh. He sounded angrily and hang up the phone.   How can he get my phone number and IC number?

I received the same call from 03-2266 2222 on 11:35AM during my most hectic time, the guy name himself as ASP Foo(but speak in BM), told me that I got two unclear police traffic ticket, immediately I realize it is a prank call and I hang up his call as too busy to entertain him. One minute later the guy call back again, this time he raise his voice and scold me why I hang up his call, no respect to Bkt Aman ASP.....blar blar blar

I told him straight why not you send your guys to come meet me and tell me the offense in front of me...he pulse for awhile, then he said they are Bkt Aman police why should they send their guy to meet me... : )

Anyway, I hang up his call second time before he finish his nonsense.

So please be careful, the prank call is coming back!

same thing happen to me this afternoon, after few hang up he try to use another number but i rejected and the calls stopped....

Same thing happen to me as well, and they accuse me of money laundering in hong kong.
Ask to to call +0085266376013 to a HK police officer " Chen Zheng Bang"
He local "police man" say he is Goh, ( 11593 is his ID ) his hp: 014-316 5210. I called up Bukit Aman and they confirm this is a scam call.

Firstly he confirmed my name and IC and asking me whether I have any credit card in Maybank or Citibank. He told me the same story and asking me whether I know Yap Chun Hong and Lam Hong Heng who is involved in the  money laundering by using my account in Hong Kong. Then he asked me to Mr. Lo Keong，from Hong Kong Police Station in Mongkok at 852-68850844 to clarify this.
After I called our Bukit Aman polis to clarify this, the police told me that Bukit Aman Polis did not investigate such banking cases.Please watch out and be carefeul!!

At 9.09am on 22.05.2013, received a call from Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department asking me whether I know Yap Chun Hong and Lam Hong Heng who is involved in the money laundering by using my account in Hong Kong. He confirmed my name and IC. Ask me whether I have Citibank credit card. I told him don't have Citibank credit card, then he asked me call to Inspector Lo Keong from Hong Kong Police Station in at 00852-6885-0844. He sound rude and nasty. Thanks for everyone here for sharing the same experience and glad to know it is a spam.

I had received this kind of call few years back...they can tell my IC and the date i went to Hong Kong!

I do received same call as yhwong today.

My ABC (dont want to mention who izzit) just call me while i was working and he say the same thing as every one was talking abt.
My ABC is in bankrupt state and was hold in malaysia cant travel oversea and totally black list from bank but still receive this kind of call. This is to prove that this call is totally fake.
Care full  and dont be scam ask them their ID Name Department before do anything...

The idiot sounded stupid.  So I told him I didn't speak Malay. He said he will call me back with someone who speaks English. SIgh... What rubbish.

I recd the cal just now 21/06/12 1:40pm mentioned the same as per those previous conversation but the line is a bit unclear.. Then he hang up

I received a call from Bukit Aman Inspector Mohd Ismail at 9.30am on 04-07-2013. At first he confirmed my name and IC and asking whether i knew these two Chinese men named Lam Hong Heng & Yap Chun Hong who is involved in the money laundering by using my account in HongKong and i would be locked up for 14days for investigation if the Hong Kong police takes charge of the case. He asked me to call Hong Kong Police Inspector Loh Keong (00852-6885-0884) to lodge a report and for recording purpose of the case. He gave me his personal mobile number 014-2793572 after i called Hong Kong.

15 minutes later he called me back and asked why i never call to Hong Kong Police Station. I told him that i did call but nobody pick up the phone but he refuse my answer said that the Hong Kong Inspector Loh Keong just call him that i didn't call to him. I informed that i will go to police station report but he told me that this is Inter-po case not use to make a report. He sounded angrily and hang up the phone.

I received a call from 03-22662222 just 15minutes ago. A guy, sounded like a foreign worker speaking lousy BM mentioning my name, saying he called from KUALA LUMPUR do i know? I say i dunno. He said what? Kuala Lumpur u dunno? I say which part kUala Lumpur. He said Balai Polis. Saying someone got my IC, tell me my IC number and said my bank book and credit cards all with him and he managed to catch two person. I asked back WHO U ARE? he said ASP Wong... I asked back i want to know ur police number and pangkat and department, because i dont believe you. Then he hang up

I received similar call today, as what you mention on your posting. All the number exactly the same and the person contact. Beware!! is a scam!!!Just tell them to come and see you.

I just received my call today, 2yrs after the 1st case reported.

I just received the same phone call from Bukit Aman 03-22662222 by Inspector TAN LOON CHUAN (ASP-G12437) informed me that my name is using to open an account at Hong Kong on 28/12/13.  Two suspects YAP CHOON HONG & LAM HONG HENG has used my CITIBank PassBook.  They were caught by Hong Kong right now.  He instructed me to call to Hong Kong 0085268850844 to look for Ins. Lo Keong (HK Commecial Crime Investigate Dept) to tell him I'm not involved to this matter and doesn't know this two persons.

Hei, everyone please take note and very careful to receive those call.  

Thank God that I have a 'touch' to check in Google and got to know this been happened since 2011.
