I just called CIMB Card Centre to enquire about this issue. He admitted of such operation of calling cardholders to verify the usage of whatever cards that we're using in any transactions though howsoever, they would never request for personal details.

Got two calls fr this no at mid nite last nite.. Didn't answer as was sleeping .. noted miscall in the morning..

I am troubled by 5 missed calls from this number once last week and once just now.when I called back always engaged. As advise by you, I called 62047799. This time Mr shafiq replied my call. He informed me it was for some verification. I had suggested to him that they must persist until they talk to us not we phone them back.

Yes. its confirm from CIMB customer service centre.  They just call to verify either to your credit card confirmation or anything related to your cimb transaction. Why should scare anyway!

I think it's a scam lar....where got bank called you to verify your mother's maiden name just to confirm you have called up to make changes on the address few weeks back....

Its a scam number claiming to be CIMB!

Received call frm 0327239000, not to say scare, but is precaution, bank call u fot verification, dont u feel weird? I refuse the call when ask my personal detail.

If it's from CIMB, unfortunately I missed the calls. Hv an unfinished business w the Cimb CDM machine which hv swallowed my money but  the transaction was declared timeout. Hope they'll call again to settle this.

Yup. It's from Cimb credit card centre af. Hahaha. Scared the hell out of me.
