hi.. i also got a call from this number 0374924700 at 16 Dec 2008. but i dint pick up.

i am using maxis postpaid now... Call to maxis and other networks and sms cheaper. But IDD or Overseas call are not included in the plan, only the normal rate.


the package i chose is rm50 per month. got service tax 5% based on the usage. rm5 for the bill to send to home. The total will pay per month will be higher rm58++ depends on your usage. if you use or not use, also have to pay every month rm58++. Minimum must use is 6 months.


As compare to the prepaid minimum rm30 per month, i think it is better because it only charge the fixed amount that you top up, but the credit balance will remain for one month and your credit will accumulate to the following month if you not finish use.

I received a call from that number a few minutes ago. At first he speaks Tamil but when I remained silent as I don't understand Tamil, he speaks in Malay to me. Funny thing is, he knows my name, which is clearly a Malay name, and yet spoke Tamil to me. Then only he speaks in Malay claiming he's from Maxis and asked whether I have 2 or 3 minutes to spare as he wants to ask me few questions. When I asked him what sorts of questions he wants to ask, he said my prepaid number is chosen to be converted to postpaid free & without any charge. Then he ask what is my usual monthly usage of prepaid, I feel suspicious because if he is from Maxis, he should know my monthly usage. I also become suspicious as to why my number is "the chosen" one as he certainly don't know my monthly usage. I said to him I'm not interested and hung up. My advice, don't trust this person and don't waste your time contacting them. I have a very strong this feeling this a scam.

great, my mom got a call from this no. Maybe she cant communicate well with my mom, so my mom said the lady finally put down the phone.

i think that if it is a maxis call,, they should appear as maxis to us..
if they wan to have such changing prepaid to postpaid,, should have some road show, at least we know ma..

claimed as maxis tooo...

I received many calls from this number. i tried to call back, at first it rang for a long time and then went on busy. Second time i called, it ring 3 times and went on busy. Is there any way we can make a official report on this number? this is causing a lot of nuisance!

This number is hunting line belongs to Maxis Telemarketing Dept. Don't worry!

My sister also receiving a call from this number. According to her, she is chosen by Maxis offering her extra line or some sort like that. No suspicious found coz she already got her sim card & nice green porch from Maxis. Why i m still not been chosen?

me , dis mornin at 10:56am i receive a call from dis number n i pick up opposite pause like 2-3 second then hang up dy , i din't return the call, until now i try to search the google izzit from any company asking for interview or wat , cos curently looking for job...then i found dis thread...

I got this called, while I was driving, and when I called back , the particular person who hung up my phone, and the rest is like "Lin 10 Dec 08" mentioned, is was like an ''international' caller ring tone, but the number is from local.
