i also got called from dis no., but dat time i was so busy, i got 4 miscalled from them and as i curious about that number n surf through internet and found dis report..seems like i dont have to answer...

Also received today - realized that this has long not been updated in this website.. perhaps they stopped calling and now start back

ive called Maxis 5 min ago, they confirm the promotion is valid and oley selected customers will get the call (from 03-7492 4700). According to Maxis, we cant call back the number......horrayyyyyyyyyyyyyy

i also got called from this no twice 2day..but i missed the call..i try to call back..but there is no answer..according to hafiz, he said that number is from MAXIS..if it is true..then ok lah..but if not...haiiyyaaa....so better we check wit MAXIS 1st.b4 we jump to another conclusion...daaaa

yyaaa ..i already checked with maxis..confirm..it is maxis number...they call just to ask wether we want to change our phone line from prepaid to postpaid...fuuhhhh

i think my situation is a little bit funny...
previously there is a bad experience i had with maxis becos of an issue that maxis did not settled with me until now...
so when this guy call me using malay, i talked to him with english...
and he asked me how is my experience with maxis?
i complaint a lot to him and want him to check the system of the progress of my previous issue.
I think he scared of me and quickly hang up the phone right after said "thanks for your feedback, bye bye"

Yes. The number is from Maxis Telemarketing side.
I have gotten this call, the lady just asked: "Is this Mr. ABC?"
then hung up the call (not sure is purposedly or accidentally), I called back, no one pick up, and call again, cannot reach anymore. Now I can call but no one answer.
I then called 123 and check, the customer service (consultant) confirm it is Maxis telemarketing number. Having say that, she asked me not to simply give away private information too.

Hi,weirdly I also have been receiving this number.
Since I am travelling, i barred incoming calls, and noticed so many missed calls from this number

Received twice from this number. When I answered, s/he hung up. Call back a few times but no answer. The best part, I use auto redial to call it, like 30 times (to irritate back) and guess what...the phone just got disconnected after few rings, i.e. sometime 2 sometime 6.

If its true like michael n others said, they r trying to get back old customer bcoz 1 month ago i change to celcom uox (and maintain the same maxis no) prepaid plan coz cannot stand maxis prepaid plan price.. those suckers must come with new plan instead of bugging us like this. back then they used to spam me with a lot of BS! promotion..
