Got a call today, around 6PM
They knew my name, but I suspected direct sale so I pretend they called a wrong number !
So far no call back yet...

OMGGG. baru je dapat missed call from this number 3 minutes ago. who is this person? :|

i just rec a call frm the same num!! lucky i google the number & found out the website.. well mayb scam or some 3rd party / tele-marketing company...

I received many calls earlier from this number but didnt manage to pickup until today, i pickup and funny thing is that they said just wanted to verify my number.. wat the heck? wat to verify..

I call maxis to reconfirmed and they said if its were maxis, we will see unknown number instead of this number.. maxis customer care consultant said that IT's A SCAM! no point to answer...

i just receive this call again by today 22July2010 11:40am, i pick up but no sound till i hang up the phone call. i receive 3 times already also same. LAST 2 times is 15july 3.35pm and 22june 1.53pm. today i call to TM check said no record found for this number, so i check Google even no just me get this call from this number =.=" called back this number many times also no buddy pick up!

i googled the number 7492 4700 out of curiousity and was shocked to find i am not alone.
i got a missed call on 24 july @ 10.15 am, caller cut call when i picked up.
i called back immediately and no reply

where does this fella get out numbers from and what is the purpose of such calls ??

i ans the call yesterday, same, there is no one pick up the phone when i call back....what do they want???they hv my particular, what will they do with those info??? haiz...

I got the same call today at around 2pm. They got my name correct and then hung up. I called the number but no answer. I call Maxis to trace if there was connection. Maxis said it was from Maxis Telemarketing agent - probably 3rd party. They are trying to promote iPhone to me. I don't mind the call but please do properly. Don't call and then drop  like that saying will call back but never do. Looks like Maxis is compromising the customers' privacy by exposing our data to the third part company. Maybe Maxis is not aware what this third part company is doing. They are suppose to promote Maxis product but actually they try to verify our telephone numbers and addresses so they can sell these info to debt collection agencies and other telemarketing companies.

I received this no. +60374924700 twice yesterday 7/10/2010. Very pissed with the way they handle calls. I would report to the authorities if they keep on calling me.

yeah..same here..at first i just 'layan' the caller talking about maxis had randomly chose my no & wanted me to try out new plan for free for a month (i'll get 500 free sms with this plan) and if i dun like it i can terminate it. then she said my name n ask for my ic no. that time i just dun feel right n said i'm not interested. the she hung up after say thanks to me. huhuhu~ what da....
