i answered a call from this number today with a lady telling me that my optus order would be delayed a few days. i got suspicious & called optus directly afterwards. optus denied any knowledge of any delays to my order! WTF? who are these ppl & how did they get my number???

they keep callin me 5 times a day

This number calls all the time and I ignore it. It number just called me like a minute ago and I decided to google it, how awesome is it that I found this!

non stop calls from this number 03 99377700 , im told they are a marketing company who works for optus...

Well optus..this is the last straw...disconnecting $ 90 a month internet, $ 90 a month home phone, and    $ 120 a month mobile

Dont do business with optus...they dont listen

oh dear, seems like i'm not d only one getting multiple calls fm this annoying number. argh....and i'm officially not even an optus user anymore! :(

I have been receiving constance calls from this number to my mobile number, they always just hang up, it's very annoying.

Oh wow guys. Thank goodness for this forum. I too have been receiving calls from this number. this number seems a little bit fancy, so I reckon it would be some marketing company. Geez, it's just so annoying. The way I do it is not to answer them at all.

I keep getting called by 0399377700 and it is very annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I want to buy a product I go to a shop and would never buy something from a dodgy cold caller!!!!

been getting calls from this number every day for the last 2 weeks, which is annoying because I work night shift and the phone keeps waking me up. They always hang up before I have a chance to answer. Was glad to do a bit of google homework and find out its nothing important

I have only had one missed call from this number (10 mins ago) and i googled the number and have been reading this forum. If they call back i'm going to blast the [***] out of them. And if they continue to call back after that i will give their call centre a visit (referring to the address someone added in a previous post). Also, I will be more than happy to leave Optus and find a real phone company that doesn't give it's customers numbers away to [***] call centres. [***] you Optus

I have had several calls from this number on different days and different times on my mobile. I also own a business and have had hang ups on the business line as soon as you pick up, several times in one day.  Wow guess i am not alone but is reporting on this forum really going to do anything?

I used to be with Optus too and have changed back to Telstra, so obviously they are using numbers from their previous data base to get clients back?

Just got a call from this number some dude asking if i wanna join with optus with no bill to pay for 6 months... i am prepaid with a different company... so i asked how he got my number he just ignored me so i asked again then he hung up lol

I keep getting calls from this number. Every few months they bombard me with 4 calls a day for a few days and then they stop. I always ignore it. Once my husband answered they asked for me and he told them that he owns the number and has no idea who i am and to stop calling which they did......for a while. I've read that the numbers are strange as they are overseas comapnies that buy "pretend" Australian numbers to try and get us to think that they are in Australia. Any number i dont recorgnise - i dont answer.

Okay so I am not on optus, have never even been with optus, and received a call today. I didn't answer but called back curious of who called me. Is it safe for me to still use Internet banking on my phone? Otherwise I'm gonna be pissed!!
