Yep I have been getting the same "phantom" calls too. I also am with Vodafone.
The call arrives around 2PM.  Have been getting them for 3 days now.

funny - for the last week this number has been calling me at least 3 times a day.  I work full time and can't answer my mobile at work and am unable to call it back as it says not in use.  I will however be answering my phone next time as I wish to hear what's on the end of the line!

I just answered one of the calls - the line was dead.  Unbelievable!

I have just spoken to Vodaphone who confirmed that this is one of their marketing numbers.  They were unsure as to why the line was dead when I picked it up but all I had to do was advise them that I didn't wish to be contacted anymore and they have taken me off their marketing list.  Simply ring 1555 from your mobile and they can help you!

We Dont here the Phone Ring Some times u will have Drop outs and we only call back in Hour Block Between Melbourne Time 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday and Some Saturday

i had a call from this number.. she said her name was nina and that she was just checking to see if i was happy with my servic.

Im not on a contract, im on prepaid..

she also said id get random calls from time to time to check if im happy with my service

got this call today found that it cost me like 1 dollar to call it lol, dunno what the hell it is even thought it may very well from vodaphone i aint giving out information to it im staying clear they have range me twice today while im at school very annoying.

i recieved this call today and a few times last week. I just press the busy signal on my phone. The last time i got this call they asked me to do some stupid survey. As the previous day they had offered me a new phone, i felt obliged.However, i did not expect to get another call

I just received the call too! it was only a few minutes ago... i was weary to pick it up because conincidentally one of my work mates has received numerous calls from the one number that started with 07 as the regional code. so this gave me a heads up that it might be some telemarketing scam to get my credit! but luckily for me i'm on a pre-paid account so to take 19c from me was not a big issue! A way to find out who it is or what company the number is from is to google it to see what the company information is and what they'd want from you! The call that i picked up on was stayed silent for 3 seconds then hung up! save the number and just reject the call if they call again! its a waste of your time and money people!

I have been getting calls from this number constantly and I am not even with Vodafone... talk about a waste of my time and money..!! No wonder I have never used them. I would suggest everyone cancel their contract with vodafone and move to another provider who actually respects your privacy...

I have had a few missed calls from this number. I answered the call today and there was silence on the other end of the line, so I hung up. When I try to call the number back, I get the message that the number is either incorrect or has been disconnected. Sounds dodgy to me.

I got a call from this number yesterday. first of all, the woman calling me wasnt a good speaker, she was way too laid back which really annoyed me because i had no time to waste. then she started introducing herself and where she was calling from. it made no sense to me as im not even with vodafone. later she told me about new contracts and prizes such as holiday voucher and new handset. i said i was happy with current contract and provider. she asked why and details of my contract. i said to her 'i dont have to tell you anything about my contract and i dont like the way you talk, extremely unprofessional!' then i hang up.

I've been getting about 4-5 calls a day fom this number over the past week or so. All during business hours (while I'm at work and unable to answer my mobile). I Googled the number because I thought it was strange for someone to call that frequently and still not leave a message - that's how I found you guys. Still a bit mysterious though - I'm on a pre-paid service and I'm with Virgin, not Vodafone.... just how the hell did the buggers get my phone number?

I got a call 6.15am this morning and again yesterday morning. I was mega annoyed, but very surprised to see you all on this board too! It is a mobile number from Australia: 0414 113 600

I am Australian but travelling in South Africa. They called my Australian mobile.

I just discovered that my phone automatically dialled that number back at 10.04am - has this happened to anybody else?
