Report a phone call from 04-1411-3600 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Greghey guys
ive been following this thread since ive had a million calls from this number. spoke to a girl called Laura from Vodafone Customer Service (really nice person) at 12pm today and i informed her how annoying the calls were and how many other customers have had this issue
call customer service on 1555 or 1800 638638, when the automated LARA voice comes on, just say "Customer Service" and when she asks for other options just say "Other" and they put you on through to an actual person.
Quote the number 0414113600 as the problem and they do end up confirming that its an internal marketing number with an autodialler attached to it, hence the reason you cant call it back and they are genuinely apologetic regarding it.
Laura in my case emailed the department who is responsible for the outgoing calls on this number, and ask to have my number off the list!
Give it a shot guys, its worth it and makes you feel a hell lot less concerned that your number is given out to randoms!
Hope it works for you!- Caller: Vodafone - 1555
- CathYep it's a bloody nuisance...I'm getting between 8 and 10 calls a day, no answer no one's there. grrrrrrr
- Caller: vodaphone
- cathi called vodaphone on the 1555 number...it worked !!! spoke to someone in India i think. very helpful, took a few minutes but hopefully that number is no more !
- Caller: vodaphone
- CamI just got a call from this number today and i registered my phone on the Do not Call list! Now that i know what it is i'm going to call Vodafone if i get called from it again, or if i pick up and someone is on the other end gawd help them! LOL
- AbigailI have been receiving calls from this number too since last week. When I pick up there is just silence and after a few seconds it hangs up. When I tried to dial the number back a couple of times, I got that funny sound you get when you can't connect, and the message on my phone was 'Call not allowed'.
First I thought someone was harassing me -- I work in a sensitive area. But when I googled the number, I found that this has been happening to a lot of people for the past two years. I called Vodafone this morning. It's not so easy to get to speak to a real person. The LARA system is clearly designed to minimise the number of people getting through to a real person, and is very insistent. But I got there after yelling 'Other' a few times and then pressing '9' persistently when I was transferred to a keypad activated system.
The fellow this morning was friendly and said he has blocked my phone from receiving any marketing calls from Vodafone. But it was funny when at the end of our conversation he actually asked me if I knew about Vodafone's new mobile internet service... Can you believe it?...
And guess what? Despite what this nice fellow said he did, I received another call from this number just a few minutes ago. So I called Vodafone again, and once again had to yell at the LARA system until I got to speak to a nice woman who apologised profusely. I asked her why I was still receiving the calls from this number. She said she couldn't explain it and said she would have to talk to her supervisor. She kept me on hold for a while -- apologetic the whole time. I get quite annoyed with their apologies. I don't want an apology, I want them to solve the problem... Anyway, I asked if I could block my number from receiving calls from this number and she said I couldn't. When I asked why, she couldn't explain it. She said she needed to 'raise a form' to get this issue dealt with kept me on hold and then said that she did it and that it would take a couple of days to take effect. She asked for my records like when the calls came in and wanted to know details like how long it takes before it hangs us etc. She also promised to ring me back to see if the calls stopped. Not holding my breath...
Her advice to me was to not pick up the phone if the number rings again... They seem either puzzled or embarrassed about this but the people I spoke to didn't seem to know much about this issue. I am quite annoyed. It seems to me that one of Vodafone's automated marketing programs is malfunctioning, and that it's ringing subscribers randomly, and that they don't know how to fix it. I am quite tired of bad telecomm companies behaving like this. They are too big and too complicated, and have very little regard for their customers. - blanketsI have been receiving these calls recently, not as often as some of you. I never answer calls I don't know so have let all of these ones ring out but was concerned when they never left a voice message, now I know why!
I am going to try and have it blocked too, will let you know if I have any success/ - FranI am really angry about this stupid Vodafone scam. A friend told me they called it back, thinking it was a legit missed call, and they were charged a huge info line fee. We should all write to the Telecommunications Ombudsman to complain about the number, Vodafone's inaction to help, and suggest that it is dodgy Vodafone making the calls to raise revenue.

- KemoHey guys, (Basically It is Vodafone, and i got a new iPhone out of the call)
But details are below:
I kept getting calls from that number about 11.30 everyday when i was at work, (I work in a call centre myself, but its inbound, hence why i couldnt answer the call, and tried calling back, and of course no answer. So I typed this number into Google, and found this website, so i decided to answer it on my day off on Friday.
I answered the call, waited about 4 seconds with the silence, then to my surprise someone answered. He said his name and said he was from Vodafone, and he said he wanted to see if i was happy with my current contract (as i only have 3 months left of my 24 month contract) He did ask for my 4 didgit pin number and i gave it to him, and he confirmed all of my details.
He asked me if I wanted to upgrade my handset, and i said yes, iPhone please (as it was the day of the release of the iPhone 3Gs) so he went through all the details, and i was happy with it.
I was then transfered to another department to read out the terms and conditions, and he gave me a reference number, and also aranged to get it sms'ed to me as well. He said allow up to 10 working days for the phone to arrive.
I recieved the sms from vodafone themselves so it gave me some confidence that the call was from them
That call was on Friday 26 June 2009.
It arrived Tuesday the 30th of June, (two business days later!)
I now have my new iPhone, and loving it, my only complaint would be that they didnt try to call again at a later time during the day when im not working!!!
Hope its helps

- VodafoneI actually work at Vodafone as well and had never heard of this number before until a customer complained about unwelcome calls... I have checked with our sales team who have confirmed this is an outbound number that we contact customers on instead of a 'private number'. If can not receieve incoming calls. Vodafone agents can not confirm their last name with customers as it is a breach of privacy.. Hope this helps.
- privacy?i find it amusing that its a breach of privacy to reveal the salespersons last name yet we are expected to give our personal details to someone with only a first name? come on.. i know from personal experience that you are required to identify yourself if challenged or escalate the call.
ps just got my first call from this number hence why im here. i wont change from vodaboner because of it but its annoying as a one off and hopefully it does not continue.- Caller: vodaboner
- jon bon joviI've had calls from this number for the last fe days, when I pick up the phone its silent. I think this is a scam as vodaphone say they do not know anything about it. i would'nt go giving out any of my details if someone answered/ who care about a blood free handset / you can go to any vodaphone shop and speak to a real person and get a free handset. If people were not so tight ass they would not fall for ridiculously obvious scams.
- GloriaI was receiving calls from this number 3 times a day for a week, and after spending an hour getting through to Vodafone (their customer care line was constantly engaged), I finally get through to someone offshore who told me it was MY fault I was receiving these calls.
I am a Vodafone customer - or should I say "soon to be ex-customer" - and according to the little man on the phone, when I signed my contract with Vodafone all those years ago, I agreed to receive all forms of marketing materials from Vodafone, included these hang up calls. Good job Vodafone, way to flip the bird at a long term customer of 15+ years.
This is how you can stop the calls - unfortunately, I think this is for Vodafone customers only - go to http://www.vodafone.com.au/help/unsubscribe, fill in the form, check the boxes you wish to opt out of (4 choices: Direct Mail, SMS, Email, Telemarketing) and submit. I'm told that after I submit this form, I will no longer get the phone calls from the below number.
For my troubles, I was credited with extra minutes and extra text messages - good thing too as I'm heading overseas and will most likely need to call work every day.- Caller: Vodafone
- not happy janIts september 09 still getting calls from this number . its pathetic Vodafone is still going with this one after a year of complaints. Listen to your customers vodafone
- over itI left my phone unattended for most of today and when I eventually got to it I had 7 missed calls from 0414113600. I had been getting the calls all week but had failed to answer most of them, when I called back the same thing happened as everyone else has said. I decided to google it and was reading through some comments and who else would call but 0414113600! I answered with my new found knowledge from the comments I read making sure I was careful with what I said. The lady asked me how I was with my vodafone services etc and ran me through a list of plans and caps vfone is currently offering which only took what? half an hour? She then asked me if there was anything I needed to know about my current plan or the service I was using, and assuming that she would ask for my details if I said yes, I kindly declined. She then told me that this number may keep calling me from time to time to ask me how I am with my services. I replied saying 'time to time? Or seven times a day?' She then hung up.
I seriously doubt that this is vodafone calling us...- Caller: vodafone
- SuzieI missed a call from this number today and googled it just in case I needed to know who called. What's crazy is the first post for this number is Dec 2007. Now it's September 2009. Almost two years! Although Reisan confirmed it's a vodafone sales number, it still seems pretty dodgy.
- NicoleI keep getting calls from this number. Who is it?
- W O o dyThis number is Vodafones outbound dialler. It calls customers new to vf or in the last three months of their contracts to complete a quick survey on service.
To have your number removed from this outbound dialling list. call vf customer support on 1555 free from your mobile ask for your name to be removed from the dialling list - AnthonyI have just emailed Vodafone with this. I'll post any reply they send:
Can you tell me please whether the calls I am getting from 0414 113 600 are from Vodafone? I googled the number and it appears it is either (a) a scam, or (b) some sort of Filipino Vodafone call centre.
If I answer the phone, I get nothing but silence.
I am assuming, if it is you calling me, it is because I'm coming up to the end of my contract.
Have you ever stopped to think that if you want me to renew my contract with you, then perhaps its not the best idea to piss me off by crank calling me with phone calls that interrupt my work day and then produce nothing but silence at the other end?
If my number is on your cold calling database, please remove it.
It is currently 1336h AEST on 09 Nov 09. If I get any calls - even one - after midnight tonight, then I personally guarantee that I will not be renewing with Vodafone. At the moment I am looking at potentially renewing with you or one of your competitors for a 24 month $79 cap contract with a new IPhone. So that's nearly 2 grand over 2 years. Your choice. Spam me again and I'll go to bloody Optus or Telstra.
Anthony. - CateThis pathetic person is still trying this scam!! It is 2010 now and i received a call today with the guy saying he was from Vodafone and asking me if i am happy with my service - he then asked me about my usage and i said 'if your from Vodafone, you would know what my usage is', he then became hostile and hung up on me. So lame!
- Caller: "Vodafone" fake
- DuelerI just received a call today whilst I was on the pooper, obviously I did not answer. Called back and only dead line beeping noises.
It has to be a scam from all the posts I have read. Never give your details to anyone who asks! ;)
perhaps I will give vodafone a call, I have an afternoon to kill.
