I have had a call each week from Lifestyle Research Centre - each time I have asked them not to call again. They are very annoying and need to be stopped. I have now complained to the TPS although their website makes it difficult to complain about companies unless you have their full details, which are often hard to get.

They are getting wiser and now withholding their number! Exactly the same script- 1 minute of your time to answer some questions, is that the man of the house etc. And when I asked where he got my number guess what? Yes, he hung up!

Filled in the TPS complaint form, but with loads of gaps due to unknown number, address etc. But what can they do?

Yes I too am registered with TPS but Lifestyle Reasearch called at 7 pm - when I said I was registered with the TPS & they shouldn't be ringing they just hung up - just how ignorant is that?

just had a call and a man asks for my partner when i say who is calling they say lifesyle research group and ask for my partner again, when i say hes not home but is not interested in doing surveys the man then tells me to SHUT UP, and said he does not want to talk to me, i then say well dont call my house, he says its not your house. i then told him to go away but not politely

I Have the info abouth the INDIAN call center calling 4rm the lifestyle research center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just say u wil do it wen they confirm ur post code and house add. say its wrong even if its corrent. then giv them a wrong postcode and wrong 1st name. Answer the questions make sure you answer 1 as YES. You should not get call's anymore......CHEERS happy 2help

A few posts have said why aren't they being stopped by TPS - TPS doesn't work for callers outside the UK unfortunately.

I am amazed with so much complaint about "Lifestyle Research Center". What are you fearing about answering a simple questions on the phone for your views. Don't you ever think that you are not the only people living in this whole wide world.

Come to think of it, that they're just doing their job calling you and asking for a 2-minutes of your time and after answering those questionnaires, that's the end of it.

Have you ever think that if you do the surveys, you could help,...... YES  not only the telemarketers who called you, but,  also the family that dependent on them because it is their job.

Here are some tips i can give you : They are NOT asking for any credit cards for you, because they are NOT selling.. If you don't want to be bother anymore by phone calls, give them an incorrect(wrong) postcode, wrong house number and if they are asking your first name, just tell them that you could only give your INITIAL of your FIRST NAME and then proceed to do the surveys, just answer about 8-10 questions with a "YES" answers so they will feel that you also like the surveys and after 8-10 questions, just HUNG-UP the phone.... because it is very important for them to say the Closing spiel...just REMEMBER if you hung up the phone immediately after 8-10 questionnaires, they don't have time giving you a closing spiel.  THE usual survey takes 25-30 questionnaires...

I can guarantee you, that you will never be contacted...

We have had three calls from these clowns today!  The last response above is rubbish, answer the spurious "survey" once and yoy will be troubled with goddness knows how many more.  It is no godd giving a spurious telephone number, their systems know what numbers they called!

The number is in India, use the international prefix if you want to call them back.

These People hav no life they will bug you till u do the survey just giv them your wrong post code n answer the questions give the fisst question which is about SKY as yes den answer a few more and hang up it should solve your prob truse me i know......

He called himself Tony Black from Lifestyle Research Centre at 9,00pm tonight. To be fair he did apologise for ringing after i said i had two young children trying to sleep and i was TPF. Or was it after i told hin to p**s off!?
They are complete time wasters and i am starting to get more at work than at home.

Have had 3 calls in the last week from Lifestyle Research centre, very rude and just hang up when you say you're not interested.  Then got another one this afternoon and they're now calling themself LRC - very original.  Told them this was the 4th call and asked them to remove my number, but surprise suprise they just hung up.

LRC is the alias for Phruit just look it up on google I have worked for them so I know Cheers!!!!!!

4 calls over last 3 days.  Same blurb every time, "hello my name is Ken (or Alison or Steve or Carol - all genuine Indian names of course) I am calling from Lifestyle Research, we are conducting a survey, it will only take one minute of your time blah blah blah".  
I have tried a number of responses - how did you get this number?, what is it you are trying to sell me? please remove my details from your list and no thank you.  All calls are curtailed by Ken/Alison/Steve/Carol part way through my response - I want to shout at someone but am left with a dead phone ....................................
