It's good to see I'm not the only person here that finds them INCREDIBLY ANNOYING! No other insurance company has ever called me after I've done a quote. So why should Youi? My current insurance might be a little more expensive but at least anyone is covered and my coverage is a good three thousand dollars more than Youi's. GO AWAY YOUI!

filled in the online quote - they came back $100 more than Swann - so said no thank you. What annoys me is that you miss the call and call them at your expensewhy don't they SMS? or use the email addy they have from the original enquiry

Totally agree!! They are far more expensive and I did a quote 10 mins ago and they have already tried to call!

Yes this is YOUI...there are extremely annoying and stalk you by ringing 5 times a day, they need to seriously look at the customer service !

They are very annoying! As I leave my car at home I wanted a quote to do so!!!! They Have quoted me $1000 a year more than what i currently pay!

They are on borderline harrasment! as I have had 6 phone calls in 24 hours from them!

i agree with abc, imagine how upset you would be if you were interested in insurance (which you all are because obviously thats why you went on their website) and no one called you? wouldn't you want the same service come claim time when you have them calling you to make sure you are looked after? something to think about people

i got very annoyed when they kept calling me, i just sent them a email complaint telling them to stop annoying people.

They are definately cheaper for my house and contents insurer but 3 times dearer for car insurance!!!

I agree with the tick a box ... unwanted calls are annoying when you're only "shopping around"

Just received the phone call, answered it, and then said hello for 5 mins, and hung up. what was most annoying was it was at 8am... I work nights, I had just gotten to bed.... GRRR

Not only more than twice the price but I guess that all of the questions that they ask (which are recorded) could in fact be used against you if you ever had a claim because you might actually be doing something that you said you didn't normally do.  When I asked their sales rep about this he had nothing really to say (because he knows that the call was recorded).  If anyone ever tells you that the call is being recorded then ask for the recording reference number and write it down - it may be your lifesaver one day.  As for Youi - I would say don't bother.  The whole SMS and then getting someone to ring you telling you that they can give you a cheaper price than their ridiculous starting price all sounds a bit too much like a snow job for my liking.

Thanks! I got a missed call on this number at 8.30am so I googled it and everyone said it's YOUI. It must be it because I did an online quote last night with YOUI. Quote is 3 hundred bucks more than NRMA's quote though. I have another old car insured with YOUI...it was cheaper than other insurance co. guess not all car is cheap at YOUI then!

I am amazed that after hanging up 3 times as I am in a meeting that they tried a 4th time in less than 10 minutes! And that is after them sending an email to me asking if I would like them to call!!!!

Yep YouI, most useless company ever.  Had insurance with them for years, one not-at-fault claim and because their repairer did a dodgy job and actually damaged our car more we complained to the ombudsman and they had to send it somewhere else and have everything fixed (after more than 6 months of getting no where with YouI).  So they tried to bump our premium from $72 a month to $94 a month for $1500 less agreed value.  They don't know the law regarding insurance and they sure as hell won't be on your side if you have a complaint about the service you receive.  I got alternate quotes - NRMA was $49 a month, so yeh, they are useless and incompetent and I wouldn't go near them again if you paid me!

Have had 4 calls from them and an email since Monday.
They are not cheaper. I found RACV was the cheapest for me as I'm 19 and want full comp. AAMI was next after that. Because I have to look at the extra excess for my age as well, Youi just would be too expensive. Now they won't leave me alone. I just hang up on them.

Dammit, i just filled out the online form to get a quote, then discovered at the end of it they won't give you a quote unless you answer their calls! Wish i'd known this before I filled out the form.
One would think that after the amount of details they request they would be able to give you a quote on the spot! Now I'm also expecting to be harassed...

Same as most on here! Hopped on the website for Youi as I expected to get a cheaper quote, all I get though is them calling about 6 times a day to try and give a quote!. On the website it asks if you would like a return email or call I ticked the email as I can't take calls through the day whilst at work !
Gee, they don't pay a lot of attention to what we ask for !!!!! Youi, maybe you should hop on here and see all the complaints about your business. Please stop Harassing ME !!!!!
