this number is from YOUi insurance. They have called me 10 times today since 8am and its not even 3pm yet - GET THE HINT! they also try calling on 07 31664800 & 073608 4800 - it is driving me insane.

I didn't even get a quote from them, they harrassed me so much and their online process for getting a quote was so time consuming that I went with another insurer. They've been ringing me at least three times a day for nearly a fortnight.

I definitely wished they'd make things easier like other insurers. Who in the world wants to be called 4-6 times a day?
I mean really? I had a Courtney from Youi email me shortly after I refused to answer the first call and answered politely that I had found another insurer in the meantime so they could stop calling.

Now I'm waiting to see if they'll take my email into account.
Nobody likes a telemarketer, I feel for them really too but come on...if somebody refuses to answer your call over and over again, drop it!!

Don't they realise that these harassing phone calls are bad for business? Youi need to make it make more clear that they would keep your number for marketing purposes.  

I never pick up numbers I don't recognize but just for fun I picked up once and didn't say anything, the operator was like "hello....hello?" then hanged up. Oh but that didn't stop them though.  They continued to call 2 or 3 times a day from 9am onwards.

I then received an email written in all caps from a rep "Philip".  I politely told him to rid my number from their list.  I haven't received a call from them since then, thank goodness.

i got a quote from Youi ages ago and it was double what I was quoted elsewhere, then I get a text message yesterday saying "We get you - so to save you more we looked at your previous quote. Reply yes to see how much you can save" I did and now I've had a missed call from them

If you want them to stop calling you, just pick up and explain your not interested. just man up.

the number 07 37194800 is youi insurance line. they are deceibtful and way out of touch in how to obtain new clients..you 'cant' obtain an on line quote at all without offering a phone number and they WILL CALL YOU INCESSANTLY once you do so, so be warned..I went through hell getting them to bugger off and stop calling me. the way to do it quickly is to call them or email them, tell them that you are going to report them to the relevant ombudsman in your state and believe me they will stop calling. Once you make a formal complain to your ombudsman they have 7 days to rectify the situation ..they get an immediate fine but if they fail to comply and you continue your complaint with the ombudsman then they get massive fines of several thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars..this is the way to stop them from doing this sort of thing to people so dont ignore them..please tell them you WILL make a formal complain to your ombudsman and do it! its so worth it believe me.:)
its the ONLY way to make them change their system and policies..the ombudsman have to follow through on your behalf by law!!

Youi got a quote from them $1000 higher than AAMI no questions about mileage covered as advertised, but plenty of questions about my financial history which is totally relevant to an insurance policy that you pay for up front. Now they are calling my phone because I refused the quote....

These guys should be had up for false advertising.

man! they just called me twice in the last 10 mins. It was from Youi insurance company! I only wanted a quote online to have a quick comparison! ....geeez! they are so annoying

Same problem. Tried getting a quote for car insurance, received PIN Number then the website said that it could not find my vehicle (Ford Laser LXi) in their data base and I had the option of writing down a 1300 number with a reference number and calling back after 8am or option 2 for them to ring me after 8am. As a shift worker I chose option 1 as I am currently on night shift and decided to ring back after I woke up this afternoon. 8am on the dot I stared getting calls waking me up, 5 calls before 8:30 from two different numbers, I then put my phone on silent and by 1pm I have now had 8 missed calls. Do not think I will be making that call to their 1300009684 number.

YOUI's web site tricks you to devulge your details and mobile number but doesn't give you any on-line quote in the end. Instead, you get calls on your mobile from their sales person. If I knew I would have just visited the major insurer's web sites and get the quptes myself. It is really annoying.

Yep after having to receive a special "pin" i should have known this was a con.  They have called me 4 times today.

I made the mistake of looking online for an insurance "quote" with Youi. There's no such thing as a quote. They rang straight away and wasted nearly an hour of my time pushing for me to take a policy after I repeatedly said I just wanted a quote. It turns out the policy I currently had is pretty good. Very pushy and annoying, she could talk underwater with a mouthful of marbles and kept talking over me. I emailed them to say I would be staying with my current insurer CGU (recommended). DO NOT ever, try and get a "quote" with them, you'll be harassed endlessly even though they've put on spam and rejected call lists.

Me too. There's no such thing as an online quote, you're immediately hounded with by a rep, I have to keep putting the endless numbers on reject and spam lists. DO  NOT TRY FOR AN ONLINE QUOTE WITH Youi.

It's Youi and you ask for a call back but hangs up on you when you pick up.

I got a quote from YOUI but decided to go elsewhere, they called me 17 times in 24hrs. Its now been a month and they still call me half a dozen times a week. GO AWAY!!!

Not happy with youi at all. I tried to get an online quote, they make you enter your mobile to get a 'code' to be able to get a quote then you're told they'll need to call you. 45 minutes on the phone for a quote, ridiculous. We decided to go with another company, I've told youi twice and still the calls keep coming, sometimes at 730 in the morning (the call centre is based in NZ, 2 hours ahead of us).

I'm getting the same KT, it's bordering on harassment, surely?
