It is an Orange outbound number. Iwork for the Orange Collections dept and until recently, that was our number. Although mant mobile telephone scams exist, this is NOT one of them.

I got one of these calls today, and I am definitely not in debt to Orange.
It seemed to me that, after a slight delay, my phone was actually calling this number back.
I'm not sure how it happened, but I took no chances and cut off the call immediately.

I certainly won't be answering any future calls from this number.

Take the part of "you were in debt to Orange" with a salt. This clearly shows the attitude of staff at this shower of **** mobile company. I am still awaiting a reply after two months following a complaint I made but have continued to pay my bills etc so I am NOT in any debt to them.
Yes this may be a call from Orange but to suggest if you're called from this number you're a bad debtor is disgusting!

I keep getting calls from this number but before I can answer they hang up !

Got a call from these guys and I smelty a rat. Asked them to confirm they where from Orange but they couldnt realy convince me. Asked them to confirm my details but said they couldnt because it was a breach of Data protection! Very rude when I challenged them. Hung up

I got a call today. l wonder why as I am with a different mobile phone company on PAYG.

I normally don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognise & have ignored this number before not knowing the caller, but I accidentally answered it yesterday in the middle of an important meeting, thinking it must have been important. Imagine my embarrassment to find there was no-one there!!!! This is a gross invasion of privacy & I think it's appalling that Orange allows this to happen. When I rang them a while back asking if they could block certain numbers, they were really unhelpful, saying there was nothing they could do & basically put up with it!!! Not good enough. Call this customer service?

I called the number back (hiding my number!) and it was a recorded message saying "One of our Orange Customer Relations Departments has tried to contact you. We will try again and there is no action required from you"

its a orange number ive had it call me a few times in the past. ive always found them to be very pleasent. The first time the calles was to see if i was happy with my new contract 2 years ago. The second time was today im due a new contract and asking if ive found a phone i like. the most calls ive had off them is 2 times in one day

just to add that they called me 2 times in 1 day but was at work so couldnt answer and i answered today when they called.

Just had a call from them which I didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number. I am certainly not in debt to Orange as I have never had a contract with them. I don't know how they got my mobile number as it's a Virgin PAYG mobile! Only  thing I can think which may or may not be related is that I just bought a SIM only contract online with T-Mobile (for my daughter) and gave this number as a contact number. I know Orange and T-Mobile are now linked so maybe that's it?

Nothing wrong with this number - I ignored it and got the voicemail.  It was Hans from the customer service team following up on a call I put in last week to reject my monthly bill of £347!!!  I had been abroad in the Maldives and bought a Travel Angel data bundle for £61 but unfortunately Orange had still charged me £8 p/MB for the 37MB of data I used (50MB as part of the bundle I bought).  I queried it, Hans confirmed it looked like a technical error and 1 week later he has confirmed that my bill has been re-assessed correctly.  All I need to do now is pay the bill and reinstate my direct debit.

In my opinion, first class customer service and a first class follow-up.

Just got a call from this number sounded foriegn but then cutoff

It is genuine.  Orange Customer Services, calling either with special offers or to chase an outstanding payment (whether or not you actually owe them any money is another matter, obviously...)

They don't leave a voicemail message.

Got call today, said it was Orange & had put offers on my account - discounted pay as u go rates if took a new handset, or free iPad if I took out data bundle package. Just cancelled my Orange contract so must be working on old database

Called today and asking my name and details....thought of some rubbish calls and kept the phone off.

This isn't actually Orange. It's company calling "about your Orange contract" but if you press them they will tell you that their name is actually "such and such telecom solutions".

It's not a scam but it is annoying. Basically they call you before your contract has ended to offer you an upgrade.

Seems to carry on even if you tell them that you are not interested in an early upgrade.

FACT. It's Orange/T-Mobile or now known as EE.It is there sales dept.

just been called from this number and took a few seconds after i said hello. it was a chap with very poor english. he said he was from orange. then said because i always pay my bill im being rewarded. he said am i me. i said yes. then asked for address at which point i hung up. as orange always ask for password details. i phoned orange and they have no record of number or my rewards being offered. so scam ive blocked number now.
