I got a phone call from the same number and it was rather embarrasing as I was at a meeting. I answered a call-- which was rather rude-- but I was expecting an important call. No one was on the other end. Does anyone know who to blame?   :-)

I've been receiving at least one call a day from this number over the past week. I answered it the first time and was told it was Orange and that I may be entitled to some offers. I said I was at work and unable to talk, to which he rudely replied "can't you take a break?" I said I wasn't interested in hearing about the offers, to which he became very pushy and demanded that he call back later. To get him off the phone, I agreed and have been getting several calls a day since. I got so fed up yesterday that I called 150 from my Orange phone and asked to be removed from all marketing contact lists. I was told this was done.

I've just had a call again this afternoon from this number and explained what I'd done and that I didn't want to be contacted anymore. The delightful chap then hung up on me whilst I was still talking. If this IS Orange, then they need to take a serious look at their staff and the damage they're doing to their reputation. I've just emailed Customer Services asking if they're responsible for this, so will update if/when I get a reply.

I've just had a call from this number, they rang me but when i checked my call log it showed as me calling THEM!

I'm off to the Orange shop at lunch time to clear this one up as i'm seething and won't be happy if i've been charged for an international call!!

Had calls from this no. on my mobile every day this week again! I just don't answer them.

Just got a call from them, said they were orange and had a few deals for my account. He was pleasant and when I said that I wasn't interested he just said if I changed my mind to call orange. The first call I've had from this number so its not a nuisance (yet lol)

This number is Orange Customer Services - I got a text from Orange saying my usage was way under my plan and I could save money. I called 150, within 10 minutes had downgraded my plan to one that saved me £10 a month. The follow up call from 07973 was a customer service call to check the level of service I had received, which was to be fair excellent.

I don't know of any other mobile provider who would do this.

07973100194 rung my husband...nothing was said.....we have enough probs with cold callers..without nutters ringing!

Yep, got my first of, presumably, many to come calls from this phantom number today.....bloody annoying, at least they said hello before going completely silent for a further 30 seconds......

I received a call from 07973 100194 - They said they were from Orange and they had my husband on the other line!!  Pretty impressive because I divorced him 14 years ago and he's never spoken to me since!! When I told them I don't have a husband they appolgised and said they were just trying to establish if my number was an Orange phone number - obviously a scam of some sort.

Update....got another call from this number, it turned out to be orange, customer services I think, offering me special offers etc....

Regular nuicance call.  Rings 3 times then stops.  Goes to voicemail but no message is left.  If it carries on I will not be renewing my contract with Orange when it expires.

I keep getting calls from this number 3 times a day, each day.  My handset broke twice and lost quite a few of my numbers, so after the first few days of this number phoning I decided to look it up and here you all are syaing the same thing!!  

My philosophy is, I have an answerphone, if you really want to get hold of me, you'll leave a message.  And if you already know me, you'll text or email, or Facebook me...and if you don't know me and REALLY REALLY want to get in contact...you'll do it the old fashioned way and write.  

I hardly answer the phone, my mobile or home phone now because I'm sick to death of marketing calls which fill up time which I don't have to spare when looking after two children or simply going about my daily business!!  

I screen everything and only give out my mobile to those people who I think will need and deserve it.  

I just wish they'd stop calling and waking the baby up and leaving my answerphone to flash with no message recorded!!!  Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Also, it goes on that much people start thinking you're playing around, calls on your phone that you don't answer in public...some people might think I'm having an affair or something!  Little do they realise I don't answer them in private either and just put up with the constant ringing  :(

No idea who keeps calling me, but their number not in my phone.

Had two calls over the last few days, Both being between 11.20 And 12.10. I've Missed both. I Guess its orange, And whn i do catch the call, I'm going to tell them rather Politley, To Bouger off!

It is a genuine number.

I was contacted this morning by Orange with a billing problem.
I know it is genuine as I spoke to Orange yesterday and was told they would get back to me. They did, using this number.

I ignored it. And it left a silent voicemail!!!!

Just had call on mob from 07973100194 saying they were orange trying to get me to buy mobile phone contact because I have been with them so long on paygo and cause I was only doing on average £10 month on wrong tarrif since change earlier this year could do me a deal...... salesman

Git a call from this number today, they just left a long answer phone message with mumble background voices! wtf?

I work in the Collections Depatment at Orange. The 07973100194 number was our outbound number for many years. This is no scam. If you were getting calls from this number, you were in debt to orange. Whatever you do, don't ignore it - chances are it's the last attempt to contact you before you are referred to a DCA.
