UK Energy Saver are nuisances, calling from central London?? But they can't give me their registered office address!! I wonder why Philip or Eric will not give out that information, it's probably Mumbai.

I have been quite ill and This morning I was in bed and woken up early by phone ringing. When I answered it the caller hung up so I checked number of person calling. what a surprise! It's same number as many others are complaining about. I too am registered with T P S and do ot appreciate nuisance calls like this so will be making my complaints.

We get several calls a day....always seem to be from india, no point in calling them there are "never any agents availiable". My advice is if you have caller i.d just ignore it or put it on silent, otherwise you can always call 1471 after ignoring the call to find out if it was more important than loft insulation.

The more complaints to BT & TPS the better! People Power!

They are definitely ignoring the TPS, (I'm on it). This shows that they are not a reputable company, no matter what they claim.

We have just had a call from these scum but neither of us got to the phone before they rang off. Yes, of course we are on the TPS list.
Anybody live near enough to them in Poole to go down and cut their telephone cables? The TPS never seem to get anything done - How about some people power?

Like many on hear i seem to be called once a day from this number. On saturday Isaid no thanks and the man on the end of the line called me "f***er*! No one needs this type of abuse. Like the other lady who posted a comment on here he promised to keep calling me, "I have your number F*****". Surely there must be some sort of sanction I wonder If the engery companies are aware of how they get leads??

I am recieving daily pestering calls asking if I am a British Gas direct debit customer.  I've asked to be removed from their list, I've asked to talk to a supervisor, etc.  They just hang up or their latest is to tell me I don't understand their job, I should just answer the question...

Very very annoying.  As far as I am aware, my phone number is still ex directory, I am also registered with TPS

It is illegal to make unsolicited telemarketing nuisance calls to numbers registered on the TPS.
My number is registered on the TPS.
I have received unsolicited and intrusive telephone calls on my number from this company.
THIS COMPANY IS BREAKING THE LAW.

What is also extremely disconcerting is that they possess far too much personal and private information about me already. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS, ILLEGAL, AND HAS GOT TO STOP.

I got a similar call and asked them to write to me so that I could consider my options.  He said I wouldn't be able to contact them, if they did write and I should look at their website (which it turned out didn't exist) and he said I wouldn't be able to contact them through the website and anyway it is a free survey so I don't know what your problem is?  So i put the phone down.  I have caller ID so will just not answer any subsequent calls.  I am always suspicious when cold callers use the phone number that I keep exclusively for work.

how bizarre that a phone spammer would come to ( know about )this site to explain their illegal actions/behavior , all authorities (and phone spam web sites ) have been informed of this illegal behavior.

I also recieve calls from this 08000280001.  They always ask for Mr Manning.  As far as i know a Mr manning has never lived in this house.  I've asked them to stop calling me on two occasions now but they keep doing it.  I have enough! its DAMNED anoying and as i can see from everyone else's posts its not just me!

From  reading all your posts i notice that EVERYONE seems to be registered here, i dont know ifs thats a coincidence or if TPS them selfs are to blame!?

I suppose if enough people complaint to TPS LOUDLY they will have to do something and lets hope its taking them to court to sue them for every penny they own as they deserve it!

I have no idea why you people would waste your time writing these horrid comments about a company that if you spent 5 minutes of your life's listening might be of some benefit to yourself, I had a call today which when I answered was a polite English chap calling me from this company I ask him why he was calling as I was on tps he was apologetic and explained the reason for call.. now from taking that time I realised that this might be of some benefit to me and went through to arrange for the inspection on my home people there is to much hate in this world to think that every call we receive is a bad one maybe if we all took some time to listen we might all realise this!!!!

I too am TPS registered! I keep getting calls from this number. I'm fed up of annoying calls like this.

Mr Nice Guy, if you had been perstered by these people at all hours of the day you would maybe make complaints about them. Or maybe you are a sad lonely git who only has calls from telemarketing companies

I've been receiving calls from this number (08000 280001) for over a year.
I too have been registered with the TPS for many years and renew registration every year.
The TPS don't seem to have any power to prevent rogue callers and they gave me another number to report 'silent' callers (0844 3722325)
I want to report this abuse to the Police and Ofcom and I'd like to see some sort of prosecution for invasion of privacy brought about.
I have told everyone I know, NOT to call my home number, as I will NOT answer it because of these crank calls.  Everybody now uses my mobile number instead.
As a result, I NEVER make any calls from my home line, so BT is making no revenue whatsoever from me, apart from the monthly line rental, which I only need for broadband access now.
BT should take note that the actions of one company, have stopped they're revenue from my telephone, and probably many other people's too.

Ive had several calls from this number today, and yes Im registered with TPS.

I have complained, but it seems that the TPS are not prepared to do anything about those who break the law.

just reported the pillocks to TPS as they shouldnt be using my number. This is the eighth time they have called in the last week

Keeps calling me and as soon as I answer the line just goes dead - most annoying - and as I live alone a little scarey too!!!  When I 1471 the number is always the same 0800 0280001 - please make them stop.
