Just to add to what I just said, but has anyone thought of recording it & taking them to court for harassment or somthing? I wonder if i could do them for child abuse or somthing....

Got a call from this number and it went dead when I answered the call.  I'm not on O2 - I'm with Vodafone!  Saved the number as #Hoax# for when it appears again.  Irritating.

Received these calls for a while now.
Have Contacted Telephone Preference Service (TPS) to get all unsolicited calls blocked on my home phone and mobiles.
The service is FREE and the companies who try to call you are legally bound to respect your choice not to be contacted.

Got my first call from these this morning, have had 8 since. I love this site!! Shall be making a complant in the morning. I'm on 02 and shall be phoning them aswell.

Why is this still happening?

I've just had a call from this number. I too believe it to be O2 i've had calls from them before but I have never used their mobile network. I think they got my number as I signed up to their online texting service.

I've had several calls from this number, which just cuts off when answering it.  I thought it might be some scam to hijack my SIM but checked phone logs and nothing aberrant. I'm on the virgin network and have nothing to do with O2.

Thankfully I found this site when I googled the number.  Have just called their complaints dept and asked to be removed.  Advised it can take up to 24 hrs.  We'll see...

I've been pestered by them for a few weeks now. I finally gave in and called the number back today ready to give whoever it was an earful and I got a machine telling me that it is O2 and I got given a number to call so I could be taken off of their list. (08000136671) I'm on pay as you go T-mobile and have been for years. Only a few close family members know my number so I have no idea how they got hold of it!

Have had several calls from these people over the last few days.  Have tried calling back but got nowhere - line goes dead.  Today, I waited for 4/5 rings before I answered on my mobile and then said nothing.  Finally got a lady saying something about my mobile network and tariffs.  Told her not to call my mobile number and that if the number appeared again, I would report her and the company

I got called today and answered but nobody spoke then hung up.
I'm on T-Mobile and never been with any other phone company.

I plan to take the advice of someone on here, to complain to my phone company for giving my number to them.

keep getting called by this number. the only time i bothered to answer the call, they just hung up... so i added the number to my blocked list. no more nuisance calls!

This is a call centre for and on behalf of various mobile phone networks. They called me (on behalf of O2) just after I order a new upgrade to the 3G iphone to advise that it would be delayed because of demand. The only details they required was my address and post code. (anything else they wouldn't have got out of me anyway.)

I DONT ANSWER 0800 NUMBERS BUT GOT SO SICK I DID ANSWER THINKING IT MAY BE SOMETHING IMPORTANT AS THEY PHONE SO OFFTEN, ONLY TO BE HUNG UP!!!!

they call me about 5 times every day. i was ignorin it at first when i got sick of my mobile ringing i answered and a guy started going on about 02 before i knew where i was he was askin for my bank details. i told him where to go and hung up. and there still calling....... so i blocked the number on my phone

I had this number call me three or four times over the last few days. When I tried to ring back, it told me the number was 'unassigned'?????

Same story as above - for last 2 weeks I've been getting called 3 or 4 times a day by this number. Tried phoning back to find out who it was - wouldn't connect but message stated that it was something to do with O2. Can't believe they still think they can get anything through this kind of cold calling and harrassment! So annoying and intrusive!

I've been getting them too, i love this site, i check all the unknown numbers that call me and i get a lot due to my number being on my business web site. Once i know its some low life i have no interest in i mark it in phone book as #harass# and when they call i know i can give then a big heap of s**t down the phone, just don't be threatening, keep it legal and have fun, what can they do?
