I called the 0800 number and an O2 recorded message said to call 08000136671.  I did this and it gave me the option to choose to not have a follow-up call by pressing 1.  Hopefully the calls will stop now...??

Hi I work for O2 and as far as I know we do not use any outside company by this name. we have brought a number of cases to the courts regarding companies posing as O2 or leading people to believe they are O2.

this number called me and i answered, and the woman on the other end of the line asked for mr long, when i replied that no one with that name has this phone, she became quite rude, and said well we have his details here, i replied well someone got it wrong then, then she asked me about electricity and gas, i replied my partner deals with that side of things [ is single by the way lol], and she said she would try again later, the thing is they are still trying me all the time. now i dont answer the phone when i see that number.  Its awful not being able to answer the phone because of being harassed by loads of different numbers.

hung up when i picked up and do they expect me to ring back the free phone?

i just started getting the calls from this number, i'm on t-mobile pay as u go. So what the hell does this have to do with O2 contracts?

I also am being bomabrded with calls from this number, when I answer it either cuts off or I get nothing on the other end of the phone, it's a

Every time they call I answer and they hang up on me!

how the hell do ya get the calld to stop? is there someone to contact? i get them every couple of days. ILLEGAL surely!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with Vodafone, and this has called me twice over the past 2 months, the second call being today. Will never answer numbers like that, so no problem, but it is annoying, as the last thing I need is random ****ers phoning me at work to change networks.

I been called 4 times over the last few days and I'm on pay as you go with TMobile.

I have had a call from this number today.  It stopped ringing after one ring.  I have contacted three mobile as they are my provider but they have told me that I can not block calls.

They also tell me that the new phones don't allow you to block numbers.  That is true of my phone.

I have my answering machine with 0 delay to avoid these spam calls.
I get them daily. If they a bona fide they should send a letter.

Just had a call from the same number whilst at work. I didn't answer it as I don't like to when at work. As it was an 0800 number I googled it and found this site - it's a great heads-up for next time they try (I suppose they will judging by the number of comments here saying they keep calling).

I had two calls from 08000641087 this week and ignored them. Rang the number back from work, they claimed to be O2 and unable to deal with my query at that time.

Then I found this website when looking up 02890530014 and see the two are related and nothing really to do with O2.

After a number of phone calls from LBM Marketing, I decided to contact Orange to complain, as it seems it was them who employed them/gave them my details. After speaking to a very nice lady, she said they have had a high number of complaints over this company and would therefore be reviewing their involvement with them. If their contract is not renewed, I believe they are required by law to return/destroy customer information that was obtained during the contract period. Hopefully if everybody was to complain enough, to their respective companies, LBM Marketing will finally go into liquidation, as they have already in a poor financial position, which is what I believe has put them in the position where they have to do this.
