this number has been ringing me... i only answered it once saying hey and then i hung up since i didnt know the number. Clearly after reading all these comments, this number isnt going to leave me alone just yet. But im not on any of contract but im on o2.

Just received a call from 08000641087 they are not my telephone provider, how did they get my number and why ?

They phoned me about 15 minutes ago. I'm on Orange contract (my number starts with 079667...)
After he identified himself as calling from O2 I asked him to remove me from their database and not call again. He replied "Of course, sir. The reason we're calling is to tell you about the great deals..."
Useless sod clearly can't take a hint!

This number called me about an hour ago. WHEN they ring me again tomorrow (no if about it), I will answer and tell them to remove me from their database. I'll report back to you.

Keep getting phone calls from different numbers, not sure who this is... with me having a samsung phone im able to add the number to my Eject list! but for some reason its a different number calling me everytime! and its the same sort of people... Saying they are O2 but yet want to know how much I spend and if im on phone line and o2 broadband, and they should know all this info anyway, She gave me 50% off for a month to all other network mobiles, a Text should come, but i don't think it will... Its very strange! I don't like these phone calls... they phone constantly over and over and over again! even when im at work...

Also forgot to add, She said if ever you need help just Dial 245 from my phone! way thats Orange that, so god knows whats happening... its stupid!

Just got a ring off this number. Tip for those who don't want it repeatedly. Play loud and screamy metal music down the phone, they soon don't bother ring you again :D

My self and my husband both keep getting missed calls from this number. they dont leave a message and on the occasion I did answer it the caller hangs up (pointless phoning somebody then hanging up.) We are both very fed up with getting these nuisance calls and wish they would stop!

I just got a call from these chancers a few minutes ago, the guy said he was calling from O2 - I told the guy that I was on an 18 month contract that I was very happy with, then he asked if anyone there used pay as you go. I said "Anyone where?" and he said "in your family, office etc" - At that I said that it was none of his business and he thanked me for my time and hung up.

Marketing bumph, ignore them.

I keep getting calls from this number, its several networks, inc 3 and o2. when he asked for me, i said im sorry but its not her phone, an he kept asking well is she available? getting fed up of it now.

Got a call from 08000641087 at 14.19 today. I was concerned about giving my details and they said they would send me a text message to prove they were from O2. Needless to say no text message arrived.

wow, so this is happening to many people?! I myself have been called by this number but never answered it. i only give my number to family and friends!

Got my first silent call from these people today - makes a change from the 08000272500 time wasters I usually get

ive jsut got a call from them, didnt know who is was so googled it and it brought me here! ha
They also leaft me a voicemail but i cant listen to it.. no credit! is it a scam?! x
