I get at least 2 calls every day from this number, can you help me identify who this number belongs to.

Just got my first call off of this number..i missed it... i tried to call back but it said id have to pay to call..! There was NO way i was gonna pay for someone trying to call me. I'll be sure to NOT EVER answer this number. This site it brill.

Also i recently signed up for twitter from my mobile and canged my O2 tarrif. I wonder if it has anything to do wit any of those...

Hmmmmm my contract is up with O2 in Nov... had 2 calls in the last 2 days.... will answer tmr and let you know

a company called lbm marketing based in altrincham

my phone was on silent....but rang out loud by this number....arrggghhhh....

haha this is funny if people just answered the phone and asked or asked O2 DIRECTLY NOT SPECULATE  you would see that it is LBM which is o2 main partner in customer contact in the UK
and yeah they called me up and offered me insurance but i took it and now i'm better off lost two blackberry's already and o2 replaced them next day so i guess if it was a scam then its gone pretty well considering i'm still connected and have used the service they offered me

Five missed calls logged. Seems to have been from O2

Been getting regular calls from this number for a few weeks. Haven't answered & won't answer, love having a 'block number' option on the phone so now all they will get is the engaged tone...

Had a missed call today, and I always google numbers I don't know thanks for the info on this site.  As I have just cancelled contract with o2 guess they are going to hound me! Will not bother answer if they ring again!

These just tried to ring my orange p&g mobile
They not only rang off this but also 01613808963 today
I blocked the 01613808963 so they tried ringing off 08000641087
Apparently there 02/LBM?
Paint in the a$$ they are!

rings everyday, won't answer as don't recognise.

I receveived lot of call from this number but nobady doesn`t talk,or ask something.

Why did you call my mobile and I have not passed it onto you or given you permission to obtain my number. There should be a law to stop people like you cold calling on personal mobiles.

Just after upgrading with o2 I received a couple of missed calls from 08000641087. When I went to use my phone there was a prepared text on the screen saying 'I could not answer your call. I'll ring back later', waiting to be sent to that number as though I had written it. I googled the number, saw it was suspect and barred it from my phone. I've had no more calls but had another pre-written text on my phone waiting to be sent to that number again today. I presume that means they tried to ring again but wondered if anyone knew how they manage to trigger something to make my phone produce a text I didn't write. Seems very intrusive to me...

I had a call from this number and emailed LBM with the following to Intelligentcontact@lbm.co.uk:

DMA = Direct Marketing Association which they are a member of and have to adhere to certain codes of practise.

A word of advice, register your mobile/landline/fax numbers with the telephone preference service (http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html) and use that to your advantage when people cold call you.  All 'official' company's adhere to the TPS and if you mention this to them when you call it generally does the trick!! :-)
