this number keeps ringing me but when I answer it no one actually speaks it is incredibly annoying

I am very sad this number is ringing me. I am now thinking of going back to Nigeria due to this, as I would rather get hassled by machine gun toting vigilantes in my home town.

They kept calling me one day and eventually I gave up and answered and they said they were from O2. I have just changed my phone supplier to Bt and have subscribed to the scheme which should stop these calls it does't . I get them every day. Bt don't care cos it brings them revenue, they should all be banned

Just been called by this number, no one on the other end of the line, won't be answering it to them again.

Was called by this number today looking to sell me a mobile phone. I'm already an o2 customer but will be leaving once my contract expires. Have called o2 and they have said that it is part of my contract to accept such calls. Waiting for a call back from a manager. It's been over an hour so I doubt I will receive one.  Very disappointed with o2, I have been a customer of theirs for other 10 years.

These PRICKS KEEP PHONING ME BUT DO NOT TALK AND THEN THEY HANG UP [***] TIME WASTERS

yes best thing to do is let it ring out then try phone the number back and i bet you cant what we need to do is get some sort of protection from these rouges thay are simply leaches and need us to make them cash so ignore the call then complain the message will eventualy get through to them if not i will bug them is that leagil or not and if it keeps going on court action will fallow swiftly

If this is o2 then thay have just found a way to loose coustomers very fast and at this time of year its not a good move by 02 ty btw bugging is illegal and when there caught thay will be fined allot of cash and allso need to payout to the coustomers thay keep anoying ie jimmy boil and me and all here .We may get a payday from thos there so stupid thay do this to a lawyer lol buy buy 02 hello vodaphone

Got about 5 calls over the past 3 days now .. getting very irritating !

Got the phone call from this nr today while at work.Guy from Manchester. He was asking the questions regards my bills and would I be interested in great deals regards the international calls. The offered deal sounded too good to be true. Now after reading the comments not sure can you trust them or better just ignore???

got hampered with this number to

o2 has over 22 million customers so they use companies like lbm to help with the amount of demands they get. Employees who work for lbm work on behalf of companies such as o2, british gas, sothern electric etc. I know the calls can be annoying because it goes through a system were if you dont pick up first time they'll try contact you again. Your best option is to answer see what they have to say, most calls are only 3mins long and then after that your off the system. Happy days! :). Some calls are based on offering a service to new customers or upgraded customers, i spoke to a guy who was very genuwine asked me about my fone, told me some benefits and apps asked if i was happy with the contract and all and yeah other calls will be sales calls, try to offer you something more but you have to expect these things especially in this market. Its better getting a call from a company that your with than i company that you have no ties with is it?! By the way, please dont think i work for them lol i dont wana be bombarded with questions as if i do. just check there website. www.lbm.co.uk/

They kept bombarding me with calls twice a day in working hours so on my break i took the call.

Spoke to a guy in Manchester. Asked me to confirm my 1st line of address... I said "no because you rang me." He goes something like this... "I understand where your coming from sir but we only ask for the first line as it its sensitive information. Its a courtesy call regarding the new Iphone upgrade that you have recently taken and to talk you through some benefits we have."

We were at a deadlock as he couldn't give me more information to prove he was calling from o2 and i wasn't prepared to give him any, then he goes..."Sir don't mean to be rude but, people walk past your door every day, there's is nothing we can do with your first line of the address, we ask just in case i may not be speaking to yourself or in case someone had stolen your phone in respects.

Well i gave in and to be fair to the lad it was a good call, was under 5 minutes talked me through on how to transfer my contacts as i am not great with technology, told me about those apps you were on about jimmy and told me some important information regarding my tariff and this data thing...

Best way to get rid of them is to take the call

Just got a call from this number - they claimed to be from 02. They knew my name and wanted me to provide the first line of my address for "security" reasons. Obviously I am not going to give this information to somebody who has phoned me up (first rule of identity theft protection).

I asked if there was a number i could call back on and he said no. I told him to call back another time if it was important. He got stroppy and i hung up.

DON'T GIVE OUT ANY DETAILS OVER THE PHONE TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE RANG YOU

I'm on o2 contract and this number keeps ringing me, have been for about the past week. Never answer it i hate cold calling.

well thanks to this site for giving me info on this number.. as i just had this number ring on my parents house phone asking for miss (surname ) well as there is 3 of us here with that name i just said they working so by looks things they will be ringing alot more
