i use call control app on my mobile its free and paid , i just block all them numbers with it.

Have rung me several times whilst I was at work this week, have not answered due to being at work.

The number to unsubscribe from O2 calls has now changed to 0800 013 6671 (dial 800 from your mobile).

Received a query about my O2 tariff and 4 hours later my account was hijacked. Do not answer these calls! It is not an O2 business number.

missed the call, sorry I did, they got me out of bed AND cost me money on my mobile grrrrr

Got 3 calls from this number in September 2012 and two so far this week.

I have had them phoning me constantly for the last few weeks, sometimes 4/5 times a day. I don't answer 0800 numbers so decided to search. I'm with t mobile so have no idea how they got my number. Might just answer next time n give them a piece of my mind

This number has been phoning me everyday for the past two weeks, which is extremely frustrating. Like many, I don't answer 0800 calls and I usually just leave it to continue ringing.

After researching the number online, I came across this website, but also a post on the o2 forums.

Apparently you have to opt out of o2 marketing, and even if you're not an o2 customer, you have to phone them up so they can remove your details.

"How do I opt in and out of marketing messages from O2?
We may use your details for marketing purposes to tell you about other O2 products, offers and services if you tell us we can. If you don’t want to receive these marketing communications, you can click on the unsubscribe link in our emails. If you’re an O2 mobile customer, you can update your choices by signing into your My O2 account and go to the ‘My Choices’ page or by calling 2220. If you’re not an O2 mobile customer give us a call and we’ll update your details. Changes to your preferences can take up to 28 days to take effect."

I've not tried this yet, but I will do.

Thanks for this, I have been getting about 5 calls a day from this number for two weeks, they have finally stopped!:)
