I find your protest hilarious, every business has complaints. Dealing with them in your way just shows how pathetic you are. Listen to these people and get them off your phone dialer. You might just then get the respect your trying to achieve.

Instead thou you seem to be saying its acceptable to nuisance call people, its not!! Do yourself a favour and stop telling people how wonderful Yell are and stop the bad press by doing what people ask, which is to stop ring them.

How hard can it be ? I guess they don't teach much customer service at Yell ? More how to get the pressure sale through.

They kept calling me. I kept saying no. It didn't work.
So finally I said yes, they then proceeded to offer me more expensive upgrades during this call, so I said I want that too. I want all of it.
So after 15 minutes of of the biggest most expensive advert ever to be sold over the phone - just when they wanted my card details -
I told them 'this is what it's like having your time wasted'.

I guess they've taken my number off the list now....I kind of wish they'd call again, because that was fun!

iv'e used yellow pages and yell.com. they always get the ads wrong and then tell you there very sorry and will give you a free insertion or discount. i used to spend thousands per annum, never again.

I use an app called BuzzOff on my Blackberry. You can list any number and either direct it to your answer phone or the call can be 'picked up and instantly dropped'. You won't be disturbed as it's all done silently. Once you have nuisance calls or from ppl you don't want to hear from logged into the app you will never be bothered again!

It rang only once. Now barred.

Had a call from paddy from a company called Hibu T/A yell.com, a quick look at their financials reveals the company is bankrupt and is "in Administration", so they are desperate for cash/data/signups/relevance .
