Report a phone call from 08001585655 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- djsrecorded message about repaying loans
- ACBRecording about debt, getting it almost on a daily basis around noon
- CXCalled today about 5 mins ago about repaying debts at a lower rate. Automated call. Hang up immediately as could be one of those lines that charge you for the call. My number is BT, but ex-directory, so would love to know how they are getting my number.!
- Tom AllsworthThis company just keeps ringing and wants to sell debt recovery
- FW| 1 replyRECORDED MESSAGE ASKING IF WE NEED HELP WITH DEBT. IM ALSO EX DIRECTORY AND WITH BT SO WOULD ALSO LOVE TO KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER
- JaySame story. I am with the TPS and have an ex-directory line, yet this number keeps calling me with their automated dialer and recorded messages about debt management. If I hang on to speak to an operator to tell them to stop calling, they slam the phone down on me.
- MichaelSame thing. We are with virgin media and ex directory. Isn't it funny how about 6 weeks after I apply for help with a budgeting loan from the social fund they start calling. If I press nine to stop them calling the line goes dead.
Am now reporting to the telephone preference service as I am fed up of about two calls a day. - DawurzelSomemessage left waffling on about debts and they can rub them out (RUBBISH) but only if it's £3,000 or more, what a con, how are companys like this allowed to rip of the most needy of people, every year a new scam arrives involving "New government guidelines", remember the insurance/endowment mortgage/accident claims, all turned out to be a con where unscrupilous solicitors and companys make a fortune out of those who need it most.
Complain to your phone providers everytime they ring you with this rubbish.- Caller: Unknown
- KayleighKeep getting this number calling my house
- farrahHAD MANY NUISANCE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ABOUT DEBT RECOVERY-PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN!
- jenniYep me too just had a few missed calls now, just ignored it the last few times!
- Caller: debt consolidation loans
- CaroleJust had a call from this number and googled it - I let my machine pick up and no message left of course. I have signed up to TPS and am with TalkTalk and ex-directory. Also concerned it may charge if you answer so now feel I need to switch off my machine.
- BigLizI just let them ring. No-one calls me when the news is on. I'll write to BT and ask them who it is.
- martinsame, debt recovery i'm on bt and registered with TPS !
The chances of anyone getting my number is a million to one they said.....
the chances of anyone getting my number is a million to oooonnne..
but still they riiiiing!- Caller: drs
- IanAn automated dialler related to debt recovery.
I changed my telephone number recently to avoid this sort of call and have not given my new number out, and I can only assume that one of the companies I owe money to has a contact in a call centre who has passed on my number to them. [***].
I'm going to report them for harassment. - MikeHad this number call many times, I called back on 1471 as I thought someone else had rang but it was this company and I got a recorded message. Anyone know the company name please?
- Rocalling me on a daily basis despite being ex-directory and caller preference service - am now complaining to service provider. They tell you that pressing 9 stops them calling - it doesn't!
I don't have debts and I don't want this service! - TI just got the call too. Didn't bother picking it up.
For those of you wondering how they get your number, they don't. They are essentially conducting a war-dialling exercise, but looking for people rather than modems. They call every number in the UK probably, many of which aren't even assigned. - JessieI called tps about this. Apparently, we can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at mail@ico.gsi.gov.uk or 01625 545745. They can't use these recorded messages unless they have your prior consent.

- peteri am fed up with them calling so i ring them back on their 0800 number and they play their message which asks you to press either 5 or 9 to either talk to them or stop their calls i don't press anything so their message keeps repeating after the occasional that was an invalid selection so i don't hang up and they have to pay for the call. if we all did this it may jam them up
