I've had LOADS of calls displaying this number, when I pick up the call it automatically cuts off, I now ignore it or else cancel.  I now know it's 3 selling phone insurance. I've just phoned the number 08001976090 to cancel these nuisance calls & they have now stopped.

I have calls from this number every day for almost 2 weeks and my network is also 3, didn't answer like the rest - just in case

I have received 3 calls from them in the last 24 hours but have not called back just incase

Just signed up with 3 myself in the UK, and have been receiving calls from this number (I don't answer). I called 333 from my phone (3 Customer Services) and the chap suggested it could be their in-house insurance sales branch. I've requested that I be taken off their marketing lists by text, by telephone and by postal mail. He said it might take two weeks for the requests to be honoured, so I'll diary a date two weeks hence, and will see if they do as requested ;-)

I dont trust them, i answered, they descrived what the insurance included and when I asked if i could call them back the woman on the phone said no, you cant return the calls - suspicious?!?!? then when i said i didnt want it because it was covered on my home insurance the woman got pretty up tight and was like well you wont be able to claim it as quickly. could be a con

I've never answered, but I don't think it's a con - I just think they are using aggressive selling tactics (it's the main problem when you pay commission to your telephone agents). Three agreed to stop the calls when I phoned cust services, which to me is a direct admission that it is connected to them.

Anyway if the calls don't stop after two weeks, I'll not give them another chance - a letter will go straight to the UK's Information Commissioner. That'll make 'em rethink it a bit :oD

Got fed up with being called by an auto-dialler and rang the number back (not from my mobile though, as 0800 calls are generally chargeable). An answering machine gives the number 08001976090, which I called, and a lovely lass promised to remove my number. The firm is "Lifestyle Services Group" who are a third party to whom 3 is passing all new customers' details. I suspect there might be a clause in the contract to allow this kind of sneakiness, but nevertheless it's unwelcome, and I am tempted to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner anyway.

they keep calling me but when i answer they hang up, unsure on whether it was one of those numbers that charge mega £££'s i googled it. problem solved. thanks guys!

I am with three and have had lots of calls from this number and then they just hang up. I called 3 and they say its not them.However they gave me the TPS web address and phone number to stop all marketing calls.

My husband and I are bombarded with calls from this number at least two or three times a day. We have repeatedly told them we are not interested and not to call but they still persist

i've just had the phone nearly a week, this number just started calling me since yesterday. It is very annoying but i have my mobile on silent mostly. So it will not bother me.

I've just had two calls from them today. First one was missed, the second I pressed busy by accident. So I searched for the number on Google and here I am... I was a bit worried at first as I have two interviews this week and thought it may have been them - phew! I'm unsure whether to answer next time or not, now I know what it is. But if I don't, they might carry on... but the same goes if I do answer, it seems! If it carries on I'll do what other people have and phone 3. I've just upgraded my phone so it must be a newish thing. Sneaky much though!

i dont pick up the phone unless i know the caller!
they can leave a message if its that important.
does it cost to call that number to cancel the calls?
is it an automated message or a person?

im on 3 too have had 11 missed calls from it in 2 days!!
