CAPITAL ONE...chasing one months overdue payment, calling all the time lousy company avoid it if you can!!!!!!!!!

same here mark, ten days late and calling every hour.  lowlife scum

They are a bloody nuisance !! sometimes i answer sometimes it dont it doesnt really make any difference ! the trouble with these call centres is that they work on a commission basis, so it they can get you to make a payment over the phone when they call, then they get money too !!!!!  Ha I never paid over the phone, especially when i found out they got money !!!!!

It's Crapital One! They keep calling me even tho I explain to them that I'm a cat. The rude [***] hang up on me. Dog lovers.

constantly hassling me day after day for a payment they tried to take 18 days late and wondered why it was refused by me !!!...
on the plus side.....i have started enjoying playing the "repeat everything they say back to you as a question" game......passes the time hahahaha

this is a nuisance call especially when one is having an afternoon rest as we are oap,s.it has been a regular phone call.

Getting really fed up now.  Keep ringing for my step son and have told them they wont get him on my number.  Gave them mobile number fine, next call said of we cant ring mobiles its automated dialling, next call offered mobile number we not allowed to phone mobiles.  Step son says he phoned them but i dont know for sure.  Just totally peed of that they wont listen.  Anyway he works anytime from 4am until 7pm so wont get him during day on my landline anyway.  ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

will the person who is calling get it into their thick heads that the person they are not at this address and we have told them time and again , i have asked them to take us off of their calling list numerous times

like yr style - I just get a queen or meat loaf track ready for them or turn the radio up when on radio one -that usually works!

yes it's capital one...still getting calls even though i am up to date on payments...gonna complain on grounds of harassment if i get one more call. They called today..yet said nothing...waste of space.

Try keeping your cd or radio on like I just did and when they phoned I said "Yes, I'll get him for you now" and turned the radio on to radio 1 and gave them hellish loud thumping rapping on the radio as loud as it would go and left it like that until they shot off.  I think they will get the message it worked with "Very" anyway!!!!!!!!

By the way if it is just one company there is a "legal" letter on Moneysavingexperts.com and you can apply to have your number removed and if they continue to phone you can sue.  The only problem with that is that they often change their number;  Good Luck

We've had a call from this number a few times a day every day for the past three weeks asking for a person who does not live at this address. When answering phone and asking them to take the number off their calling list, they seemed to have either selective deafness or a non-understanding of what I've just asked. Upon ringing their customer service number, Capital One went on to tell me that my home number was not registered with them so I'm assuming this is a bogus number.
We're currently having to go through the Telephone Preference Service to stop the number from contacting us.

THIS NUMBER HAS CALLED ME A TOTAL OF 30 TIMES IN THE LAST 4 DAYS! I DONT HAVE ANY PRODUCTS WITH CAPITAL ONE, IF THEY CALL YOU ANSWER IT AND TELL THE TO GO FORTH AND MULTIPLY. IF YOU DONT ANSWER THEY JUST KEEP ON CALLING!

Transferred a credit card debt (0%) to this to tide me over until I got my finances straight. When I arranged it, I was particular to emphasise that my direct debit should be adjusted to the minimum payment. Fortunately, I moved £1000 to another account a few days before the direct debit came out and my bank refused it rather leaving me over my arranged overdraft. I paid 3% transfer fee... would have been outrageous for a month's interest on top of all the fees I'd have to pay my own bank! They have now corrected their mistake but still had these phoning me up.... gave them both barrels again!
Onve this is paid off I won't be working with this company again - I tell them to change the direct debit , but surely it should be standard practice to ensure that direct debits are changed when you do a bank transfer.
Unlike Barclays, they at least didn't ask me anything massively confidential - only the 16 digit number and my address. They gave me all the information about direct debits due so not suspicious.

yep cap one idiots they call us about 8 times a day at all hours, i thought it was illegal for them to phone morethan once a day, i've tended to pick up phone and leave off hook for a few minuted but will try pressing '0' if it will give high pitched tone!
