You r right, I got a call today too. Sad to say that man was from India. He got upset, and hung up the phone when I asked him why should I believe that you are not a scam.  I googled  and saw lots of review about them. Be careful.

I did have a problem and was caught out by the call. I gave access and paid a fee but albeit late in the day, realised I had been taken in.

I contacted my online bankers / credit cards /paypal etc and stopped all transactions, obtaining new bank cards etc and no money left my accounts. Changed all passwords via another computer and brought in a "real" computer expert to go through my desk top and remove/block pc wizard. And to be on the safe side, I won't use the desk top for any banking or financial data.

Passwords to my pc/ eBay/ everything changed via another pc.

I dion't know how I fell,for,something so stupid but I did and felt sick with a sleepless night to,follow.

Having managed to stop the Payment they claimed, I received a call from pc wizards the next day on receipt of which input the phone down on them. Any caller from any cold call willmnowmrecievemthemsame treatment, even if they are genuine.Once bitten ........

I might be a techno phone but I am not Norman idiot, yeti fell for,it asmImwas having problems and just got caught through sheer ignorance!

They are on the prowl again. 1-800-878-2302. Saying they are working with people who have Microsoft and this time .... it is not a virus...it is something that slows your computer down, and they will help fix it at no charge. He talks about my computer security and firewall. I am no computer wiz....but why would he be interested in MY computer security at no charge. I asked him why he was working for Microsoft. He said he was not working for them. So I asked what is this operation called? are you acting on their part as a sub-contractor? He was tripping over his tongue. You could tell he was tired of explaining something he could not explain. LOL by the way his name is Paul Walker w/P C Wizards.

I also paid 99.00 for nothing what can I do
