Repeated nuisance calls from this number

I had a call from this number after I blocked numerous calls from another one 08437243916. There seem to be a pattern of their calls which is how I know not to answer. First call is long and straight away another call for a couple seconds and ring off. Sooo frustrating!

I had a ring by this number and  "pension review team" message coming up,  unwanted a call then block this number

Calls most days at the same time. I don't answer as not a number I recognise and now I see that other people repeatedly having the same nuisance calls. Been reported many times, why is something not done about it? Can't be that difficult to identify them and put a stop to it!

It would require the "Regulator" to have the will to take action.    Something which is conspicuous by its absence.

as you already got CLI, time for handset that blocks either specific numbers or every "number withheld" / "international" etc (or both) and you'll not be bothered again.  What price peace? (i.e. For less than a night out for two.)

They have been ringing me daily for about 2 weeks, same time every day - driving me mad - I reject, I ignore, I even answered it once - recorded message, didn't even get past the "this is an important call" before I hung up.  Seriously need to ban these type of calls.

I got calls from this number saying the were the "Pension Review Team" making it sound like they represent the Government. Well these creatures only represent themselves. They should be stopped.

Repeat calls from this number many times a day. I don't answer but it is very annoying.

something to do with pension review 'urgent' apparently..ha. I don't even have a pension. Same number called me every day this week, also calls from 08437240471.

Do not ring this number back it cost me £1.57 for a few seconds!!!

Called me every day at the same time until my son managed to block it for me on the mobile.   I was in New Zealand so badly affected me as once awake at 3.00 am in the morning I coudn't get back to sleep.  Please lets find out who they are I want to ring THEIR head honcho at 3.00 am five nights on the trot

My wife rang this number back twice and it cost her a £1 a pop premium number so virgin said do not reply.

hopefully for UK consumers, new legislation introduced from this week will lead to reduction in calls from 0843 + similar but shame not read this thread before making return call to Premium Rate number :(

The mobile provider charges for the call, the government gets the VAT charged -what's in it for them to make it unlawful?
