Just got a call I told the man I didnt need his help as I was a Finance Officer and was aware of what I was entitled to...he got really shirty and asked me to explain PPI if I was a finance officer! I am so tired of these calls!!!!

i keep getting calls from these ppl and they are so arrogant that they wont take no for an answer just ignore them thats what i do now

We received a call from we fight any claim.com at 13:11 today. The woman asked for my husband and, as it was obviously from a call centre (and he was eating his lunch!) I said he wasn't available. She then said the information they had could be suitable for me too and went on to ask if I'd taken out payment protection insurance. I explained we'd paid off our mortgage years ago and hadn't taken any other payment protection insurance out because of the bad press it had received. She was pushy and quite objectionable, saying she would call my husband back at another time, however, when I asked whether she was a government run organisation she hung up - success!

Innundated with calls - at least four this week.  I just hung up.  I think I will go for the crime scene/dead body routine if they persist

Had a call from these people just now.  The number on caller display was 08448569042. However when I rang choose to refuse to add the number to  barred callers, the number of the last caller was given as 01633704030. Strange indeed. This is the number for a company named "Yes loans" who have been given a lot of negative press recently.
Please BE AWARE.
Probably a bad idea to have anything to do with either of them

Next time they call I shall lead them up the garden path and back again - more to the point how did they get my number?

I had a call from this number yesterday.  I said that I had never taken out ppi hetold me that i probably had without being aware of it - that was when i hung up!

Got this one along with the "Yes Loans" text message within a couple of minutes earlier, told the guy I wasn't interested, but he kept on talking, told him to get a real job, he said I was being rude, told him it's my phone, and if he doesn't like that don't call it lol

Shouldn't be calling me as I'm registered with TPS on a newish phone, the number of which I only give privately, so shouldn't be getting any marketing companies wasting my time.

Caller said she was Rebecca Burgess of wefightanyclaim.com - asked for me by name. I siad I wanted nothing to do with it, asked her not to ring again and put the phone down - that was on 11th July. Today I was contacted by an unpleasant man supposedly of the same company but a different 08- number; I sid the number is TPS registered and not to contact me again - he was rude.

Just had them call, the guy had a scottish accent claimed to have been given my name and number by a referal claiming to get me back £3500 of financial charges. I said i wasnt interested, he insisted i should be and proceeded to ask me how i knew i hadnt been charged these figures and how he could save me all this money, asked him to name the charges i could claim where he got all waffelly started to ask additional information, back tracked and said not interested again... he again asked why... being quite pushy. Told him im fincially aware claimed back all the ppi claims ive ever had successfully and your clearly an idiot and put the phone down on him. They havent rang back......YET... might have to prep the dog barking for the battsea dog home prank for the next time they call.

I have had numerous calls from this number, But the time I get in from work their offices close at 7pm.

Recieved a call from this number today but didn't answer and used this site to find out who it was.
**I have taken to saving the numbers on my phone, and then giving them a different ringtone so I know not to answer it! Nice idea if you phone has the capability!**

I had a call from this number early today. Pleased I didn't answer it (most calls I get these days are cold callers, despite me being TPS registered) but it was enough to wake me up first thing this morning on my first day off in months. Pains in the A*se!
How weird though...Just as I was typing this comment my phone rang again...same number!
Will now report them to TPS!

1. Answer the call
2. Tell the idiot to hold on for a sec.
3. Sec later, make a Fart sounds and laugh at the [***].
4. Hang up.

These annoying people have called from several numbers.  They call during the day implying they are returning a call from my husband.  When I found out who they were, I told them my husband had not called them, to remove our number from their database and not call back.  They became very snide and aggressive saying that they could only do that if they talked to my husband.  After I repeated my request, the man say:  First, how do you know your husband didn't call us and, second, how do you know this isn't important?  I lost it and screamed at him and hung up.  The laughable part is, if my husband had called them unbeknownst to me, why would he have given the home number so they would call when he wasn't there and I was?  He could have used his work/mobile number.  Idiots!!!!  

After being away for a few days, we found 3 missed calls from them from different numbers.  I have reported them to the telephone preference service which we subscribe to (but seems to make no difference).  Is there no way to stop these people making these calls?

They've rung me but at work so didnt answer.

My mobile and home phone is on the TPS so they shouldnt be ringing me!! Tut Tut!

When they ring just pretend you have a stutter the call will only last 5 minutes max they'll soon hang up. It works everytime.

VERY aggressive telemarketing call.  When I told her I was registered with TPS she just snorted and said she had got my number through a referal but couldn't say who. I put the phone dwon and suggest others do the same.
