- DavidYes often get calls from this lot. They must use automated calling as sometimes phone only rings once and disconnects. I ust put the phone down as soon as they ask "How are you today"!!
What puzzles me is that they have been blatently operating this ruse (indeed scam if the £1000 upfront fee is still being asked for) since 2008. WHY DO OUR AUTHORITIES NOT SHUT THEM DOWN? Along with most of the others in this list. Clearly SOMEONE ELSE as well as the company are making money out of this somehow........- Caller: wefileanyclaim

- BizetbabeI took a call from Wefightanyclaim today whilst at my mum's house. I immediately recognised this as a selling call and told them that my mum was unavailable. They then said that their information could be of interest to anyone at the property over 18 yrs old and that they could claim back mis-sold PPI on bank loans, credit cards etc. When I told them that I wasn't interested they said that they would call back later and speak to my mum. I said that she wouldn't be interested and not to bother as the number was registered to TPS. The caller became very pushy and repeated several times that he would ring back and then hung up. I dialled 1471 rang back and told them not to call my mum's number as she was registered with TPS and that they would be cold-calling, only to be told that as their salesperson had told me he would be ringing back they wouldn't be doing anything wrong as they had informed me of their intention to call back so would not be "cold-calling", (the utter nerve of these people). I have since reported them to TPS but will still expect the inevitable on-slaught.

- funkydoowopperCalled by young lady. Couldn't understand the name of the company, probably as described below, but then she didn't have my name correctly. Told me that I MAY be entitled to a significant cash sum but couldn't state that for sure. Told her that I was signed up to Telephone preference service & she claims that I had given them permission to call me. Strange as I have never heard of the company. She claimed the cash sum was due to mis-sold payment protection & I told her that I had never signed up for such. She claimed I wouldn't necessarily know. Presumably not if I hadn't been paying attention. I told her this was not a convenient time to call & she asked when would be a good time to call back. I said never. Oh why's that she said.
String them along. Have fun but don't part with any cash. Clearly have no idea what they are doing.- Caller: Scam
- MrsBJust had a call from theses, told them to ring after 6 when I will be home from work, as I have seen them on this site. I am going to get them to give me all the information and keep asking them to repeat it after every other word (I work in a call centre - non cold calling) as I hate it when that happens to me.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MrsBJust had a call back from them they asked if I have ever had any loans etc I said no, he asked if I owed any money I said no and he waffled on about the average household owes 8k blah blah blah and i said I've never had a credit card, loan etc and he asked how much I owed I said a big fat 0 and he said are you sure I said well £150 on a catalouge and he said thank you very much for your time to day and put the phone down. Was on the phone for 1.33 mins lol.
He didn't even get my name right!!!!
So maybe if they call you say you owe nothing and they will soon go :)- Call type: Telemarketer
- dennis wainwrightwas called today. they asked for someone else and when i said he wasn,t here he said what do you mean he's not there i said he had the wrong number as the person he wanted wasn't known. but he hung up before i finished explaining, very rude and agressive.
- hatecoldcallsI have had 4 calls from this company today using the above number, 01633473598 and 01606891176. Fortunately for them, I was out for the last 3!! The call this morning started with "How are you today?", so I was already on the alert for a cold caller. Couldn't quite catch the name of the company, but heard something about "claim" and told the girl that I haven't been injured and didn't have any claims to make. She said they weren't that kind of company and could help me. I asked them to delete my details from their database as I had not requested any calls from them, or I would refer them to the Data Protection Office. She said they had been given my details from a company called "Juice" (I think - very noisy background) as I had completed a survey and agreed to have my details shared. I said I had not done any such thing and asked again for my details to be deleted from their database. She said they held them legitimately and I should take it up with the other company. I said I will, if and when I find them, as I have never had anything to do with them. I asked them a third time to confirm they will delete my details or I will contact the Data Protection Office. She said the Data Protection Office couldn't do anything as they held my details legitimately. I reiterated that they did not, and how dare they phone me at home and argue with me. She was an extremely rude and obnoxious woman, and hung up when she realised she wasn't getting anywhere with me. I'm so glad I was out when they phoned 3 more times this afternoon, as I could not guarantee that I would continue to be so polite. I am registered with the TPS and have reported one of the numbers to them using their webform, and I have the details of the Data Protection Office to continue my complaint with them. So glad I'm not alone, but everyone needs to complain about these charlatans.
Oh, and I didn't have any cold calls until I had to phone Santander's call centre from my home phone to pay my Debenhams store card......interesting little coincidence that!- Caller: wefileanyclaim
- gordyjust thought i would check out this phone number on a google search and found this site. they called three time already today and i am not in the habit of picking the phone up for 08 numbers. if they were that interested in talking to me about something worth while they would have left a voice mail, they didn't. it was after these three calls that i did the search. so the moral is don't pick up for 08 numbers.

- M| 1 replyReceived a call from this number. Very abusive lady denied our number was TPI and insisted if i was not willing to talk to her than maybe my wife would. Who can I report them to?

- Nan replies to M1. TPS
2. OFCOM
3. ACTION FRAUD
Preferably, all three! - Eleanor C| 1 replyI just had a call from this lot - very persistent - the woman kept claiming she had to ask me things 'for data protection purposes' - which really annoyed me, since I can protect my data best by not giving out to random people over the phone...
Here are company details from their website if anyone is planning to complain:

- Caller: file any claim
- Art replies to L. GreenhalghThey are a shyster company 'claiming' to help you win some form of claim. Hang up on them - I'm developing a shrill sound to pump into the phone system that will deter future calls - they got your number(s) off a paid for mailing list
- mariaThis call claimed that they would help me claim back money that i may have paid in PPI "Payment Protection Insurance". They asked my name, address and marital status. They then asked about my bank account and said that if they did win the case i would have to give them 30% of the total, i understand that i have some money due back to me but the bank said that it would be 40days before i would receive the money, i have had a phone call from these people every day for the last 2weeks, i was told that if i don't give them the money i owe then that they would start to charge me a late payment fee, it has upset me so much to think that i would be charged for something that i was miss sold to begin with and now these people are going to make money from me, they said that the only way that i could stop the late payment charge was that i give them my bank account number and a date that they could take the money that i owed them, so i did just to stop them calling me, but still to date they are calling me asking about the money i owe them, i have told them that it has all been set up by one of there team members and that his name is Garry and that the money will be taking out of my bank when i get my money, but they say that there is nothing on the system and that if i don't pay what i owe then i will be charged late payment fees, i am so up set that someone out there has my bank details and i don't know what to do about it.

- Joanne replies to Not as green as I look! You can claim them yourself if you want to. It's not hard, you get the claim forms from the FSA and send them off. I worked for a finance company that sometimes ended up paying more in fee's to companies than customer claimed back!
- RookieHad a phone call from this number today- said that they had been trying to contact me for a while- like it was my duty to speak to them. Basically trying to find out if I had paid for any ppi- told them I hadn't and that I worked in the finance industry myself. He then had the cheek to ask where I worked - of course I willingly told him- NOT! Then he asked if I was sure I hadn't paid any ppi- hang on d***head -just told you I haven't and that I work in finance- do you not think I would know! He said I had been referred so I asked who had referred me and he said consumer survey- load of tripe. No doubt they will ring again just to be sure. Won't be as polite to the next one though!

- RedderReceived call from this number today. Male caller first asked to speak to my wife (I think they actually spoke to her earlier in the week). He then asked a series of questions about PPI on mortgage and credit cards; I told him I didn't have any PPI at which point he gave up and ended the call. This seems to be the best way of dealing with these people.
I've had a bit of practice dealing with similar calls recently including one from another Welsh-based company - Consortium. Are they linked? Similar sales patter!- Caller: We Fight Any Claim
