I work in this call centre and it is legit, TMOBILE have a proactive upgrade team where contracts can be renewed anything up to 3 months before hand. we have all billing information etc and payment details on our systems. We are trying to offer either a discount on line rental or a phone to get you to renew your contracts!!! As for people who are contacted when they have upgraded, make sure that you are not the account holder for several phones and the you pay for the bill as it may be the case that its you getting the call but its a the other phone line you pay for that is entilted to the upgrade. You get the call as your the account holder.

I got a missed call off them today. After reading the comments here not sure why I did as I still have over a year on my contract left!

Hi, This is a scam number....as three months ago I renewed my contract with T Mobile....so it isnt for contract purposes, but the longer you stay on the phone the more you are being charged.
I never answer thhis sort of number for that reason.

I just missed a call from this number, after calling T-Mobile yesterday about my upgrade. I'm not due for one until September, but it seems like there's now a flag on my account to show I'm interested. This happened last time I queried the upgrade, about two months ago.

A bit annoying really - I know I can't upgrade until September at the earliest, so why pass on my details to this number?

I've had 12 calls already this week from this number so i decided to do a search for the number and I've stumbled across this site. I never answer these calls and in this case I'm glad I havent. I'm with 02 and my contract is up in 2 months so the next phone contract I get.....I'm going to screw them into the ground or walk away!!

Well They Phoned Me Like When I First Got My Contract Which Was Back In October Now They Don't Seem To Stop Phoning Me!!! Its Rather Annoying And I Just Don't Answer! Maybe They'll Get The Hint!

Just had the call telling me I can upgrade 3 months early and claiming to be t-mobile.

Told them not interested. GRRRR - If its t-mobile really, then I would not expect them to be calling me 3 months early with a 0845 number.

Thanks all.  Just had a call from this number.  They didn't leave a message hence me looking them up.  Happy to say i will now be ignoring the call.

Iv just had the same thing. Iv even just rung up T-mobil on 150 and they said its not to do with them, they outsource those calls to a third party. (Really helpful, least they were polite)  I think the best thing is just to ignore the numbers.

I never had this problem on O2 and as I'm upgrading in 3 months i think ill be switching back after a few weeks of this.

Answered and let them listen to a bit of the stone roses, this was the 3rd day in a row. Tmobile trying to sell something getting fed up so a different track everytime now!

ok so heres the deal its not a call from t mobile to say your contracs running out cus ive only had the phone 2 months and the contracts for 2 years so its a definite scam!

I have received calls form this number and I am ignoring it.  I will not and I have never up-grade my T-Mobile over the phone and this type of number is really dodgy. I think it is wrong T-Mobile should give our details to any third party!!

I am so tired of this number calling me, they are a nuisance and I consider this harassment and to some extent I feel I'm being stalked. Help!!!!!

This is a genuine T-Mobile call. My contract expires in a month and I've been with them for years.  The automated message you get when you ring it back is exactly the same as all other T-Mobile calls. I recognise the voice.  Just waiting for them to ring me again so I can get my upgrade.

Further to my last post, I can confirm this is genuine T-Mobile.  They just rang me again and have given me a £15 saving on my monthly price plan and a new phone by upgrading early.

just had call from 08454122700 this afternoon and was a bit sus so researched on google n came up here. after googleing rang t-mobile and said i keep getting calls asking me to upgrade never gave them the number that rang me and the person from t-mobile confirmed without me saying anything else it was there retention team and they would be calling back on such n such day at such n such time which the bloke origanally told me when i got the origanal call from 08454122700
SO THIS TELLS ME IT IS NOT A SCAM

Accidentally left my phone at home today, on silent - 5 calls from this number within 4 1/2 hours!!!  No message left.

Got 4 calls from this number today, one hour apart. No message.
