- oueeza| 1 replyThis number called me at 3 am!!! wrecking my night's sleep and affecting my fitness for work ...
WHO DO I RING TO STOP IT? - Scouser John replies to oueeza08456021111 is BT SMS Messaging service. I too got calls from them at all hours. Despite lengthy correspondence with BT, these continued. I contacted my own service provider, Virgin, and they gave me the number to disable these calls- 0800 587 5252. This identifies itself as BT SMS Messages Options. Choose Option 5 to stop BT forwarding any messages. I am still in contact with BT to ask them why they didn't tell me this in the first place. The latest e mail I've received says the calls are being sent to my landline from MY mobile. Nonsense. All BT staff I've dealt with appear to be a aste of space. It's like arguing with the Speaking Clock. Anyway, hope this helps.
- beckigot a call form this number today didnt answer it as i keep getting them,, i want it to stop

- LeeThe number is the BT Text service.
If someone texts your landline, it will say the text - It will not charge you for answering the call.
It's a free service.
However, calling them directly, after they have called you will be the 0845 charges.
08456021111- Caller: BT
- Call type: Event reminder
- steve smith replies to AnnoyedHi Guys
WITHOUT PREJUDICE
This is getting everyone angry.
First you can stop the calls by calling back on the O845 number. You go through a list of options and can block the service.
Also you can call BT Fraud line on 0800 321 999 option 1. These are all scammers trying to get personal details.
If BT are recieving line rentals from these criminal gangs then they are guilty of recieving a pecuniary advantage from the proceeds of crime, which is in itself a crime.
If we all keep bashing away at the phone providers they will give in - doris replies to ddd| 2 repliesWhy `re you people so alarmed? It is simply BTs text delivery service.
To people saying "I am not with BT", so what? They are sending a text to you which someone sent to your home phone.
If you don't answer the phone the service will keep trying, as someone has paid for that message to be delivered and BT want to deliver it. - CazIt is an automated SMS service. Mine was telling m to phone FPC regarding an important personal matter.
FPC are debt collectors for Capital One. Why would I waste my money phoning these people.
I am in 'dispute' with Capital One, so should never have been handed to a debt collector any. They are very insistant phoning up to 10 times a day. I have writtn to Cap 1 demanding that they remove my account from these people as it is harrassement.
I do not answer their calls so hopefully they are wasting lots of money keep sending me these stupid texts, but as I work from home it is becoming a real pain.
Other companies, home deliveries etc, also use this service so you may need to listen to the message to find out who it is.- Caller: Automated Txt from FPC
- Call type: Text message
- bugsyI don,t who these people are.I don't want anything to do with them.I want them to stop calling me.
- Caller: don't know
- noellieplease do not call me i dont know you so dont
- jack replies to dorisits not the sender that pays for the message only the receiver pays as well
- JJMMWGDuPree| 2 repliesIt costs nothing to answer the 'phone, but it's better to let your answering machine take it. The calls aren't from any one body in particular, they're from anyone who sends you a text to your landline, and the texts are read to you by a computer so you may need to rewind your message a few times to get the drift of what it's trying to say. You can listen to the message as often as you like on the 'phone, but once you start pressing buttons you start paying at 0845 rate (Which depending upon your 'phone options may be free anyway...) so best to let the machine do all the hard work.
