I've had about 8 calls over the last 2 days - same scenario, as soon as I answer they hang up - does anyone know who they are for definite and a landline number? I'm getting VERY hached off with them!!

We've just had this number call my partner tried phoning it back and they hung up! My partner is not in debt or anything like that so don't know why they are phoning him :( They knew his name tho :s It's obviously some sort o scam just blocked the number on ur phone! If it's that important they will find another way to reach you!

This number has called me I don't know how many times now, so many I have lost count, on both my home and cell phone the "company" (D&L) have even sent me text messages. The calls can happen anytime between 8am until 10pm. I seem to get lots of calls and text messages from companies like this and I haven't got a clue how or where they get the information from, wouldn't be surprised if they get this information online when people complete their details on bonefide online forms, or maybe from the phone companies. Whatever happened to the data protection act, its a joke.

this number keeps phoning me and when i answer they hang up on me. i want to know who they are.

This is very weird, as when I tried callign this number back, I got connected to a satellite phone. Dunno who it is though.

they phoned and hung up then tried calling it back and it cut off, its really annoying! who are they and why have they got my personal number!

i got several calls from them but there was no answer when i tried to call them back. i dont want to receive a calls from them anymore.

Here we go again, call after call, just ignoring it at the moment.

I received a call last night from a company calling themselves B and E group well i think thats what the lady said. She had an Indian accent and she seemed like she didn't really want to talk. She asked for my name. I asked what the call was regarding, she replied that it was in response to a letter they sent (i have never received a letter). Because i wouldn't give my name or co-operate with her she hung up. I think these people are a con. No letters are sent and they are praying on people at a tricky time. Luckily i don't like talking on the phone or dealing with call centres so i am rude.

These people phone at the most inconvient times.The only advice i'd give is be short and sharp and ask for their details first, as soon as you do that they will hang up. As for them calling back i've reported them to OFTEL.

I'm not normally a nasty person but these people are horrible. They are con artist who pray on people. They get hold of your personal number a stalk you. They are horrible and they deserve to treated as such.

These have called me a few times over the past few days.

They phone during the day... my phone is switched to silent as I work!
No answerphone message left.

I called back and each time no identification and they say they are going to put you in a queue, and the line dies... so what does yhour average Joe do?

On the 3rd time of trying I realise this is A SCAM, and they probably make heaps of cash out of the 0870 number....

DO NOT RETURN ANY CALLS !!!!!

Sick and tired of them calling me -everyday- before noon! at first i was answering, they were asking my name or if this was my sole number then hug up.

Now, i send them on voicemail but they never leave any messages.

These guys call me, they know my name, but that is all. They ask about what debts and loans I have then go on about a letter they sent me (Which they never did)and talk about monthly repayments and something I could not understand (Was in African or Indian?) then he hung up.
Weird, don't call them back as they charge you a fortune.

a woman with a scottish accent called me and asked to speak to me she gave my name a said it wasme speaking she hung up
i tried to ring back several times i get told that thier agents are busy and my call is important to them so please hold the line then the phone goes dead ithink its some kind of con cos it costs me 35p each time ive had several more calls since and a text from d+l

If you get an 0845 or 0870 ect number then google saynoto0870, it will list the company that you are trying (if they are listed)to reach and will give you a landline number....

2 calls today, just answered and its some ICC loan bullsh*t company. usual chat, ignore the number if u dont fancy a backstreet loan

The same thing is happening everyday and the women is offering me to take loan  at 4% APR. I sad her that I don't want it, but that number still annoing me they colling at 9pm or any time. I hate them.

I'll tell you what, that they use the server computer to make phone calls, checking are you a real person and at the end they can use your number and address from the same source where they got you number.
I was so stupid to try to find my credit score rating and after that they started calling me.
I think it would be better to report it to your mobile operator to block them or report to the nearest Police Station.

Ive been getting phoned y this number every morning at 09.00 for the past two weeks, im ignoring it coz i think by now they should get the hint but apparently not! what makes it worse is that i work nights so i am woken up by these people! ugh

Just had a call from these ppl saying they were UCC. Ive had numerous different call at all times of day from these ppl and from several different numbers, but they all say they're UCC. No matter how much i swear at them or request they remove my details from the system they still keep calling!!

Ive finally figured out that this has summat to do with the Credit Expert website after clicking on their 'Lower Your Bills' link. Complete waste of time and money.

UCC have also called me from 01252555075 and 01252555029.
