Answered the call and they hung up!

called me 2day 6 times in 1 hr! said they were d and b 2 me and that i had applied 4 loan!!!! when i havent!!!!!!

They call me 4 times sins yesturday but I'v never anser. Thats happend after I give my name to estate agency in milton keynes (do not remember but i think that was YOU MOVE and CONNELS). I'm gonna call them and ask them for an explanations.

I've had 3 calls today already from the number, not going to answer now ive seen this post.  

They probably make some good money on the 0870 minutes on people calling them back regarding it.  

6p per min kickback on 1000s of calls probably adds up quite nicely for them.

Grrr this is really starting to get on my nerves now, I've had 2 calls in the past hour, I just missed the last one as I was away from my desk, no boubt they will ring me again so I'll try and answer the next one....

I just got another one and I answered it  this time.  The company was called direct debt solutions and he said that he was ringing me in reference to a letter he sent about reducing my monthly outgoings. I've not had a leter about this so I guess this is what they say to everyone.  I told him that I was happy with my monthly outgoings and wasn't interested.  He then asked if I drove a car to which I said no and he hung up, nothing like some good customer service!!!

they call me twice a day, annoying as it is i just knock it onto mute and et them waste their time.  surely there are real jobs these idiots could get.  i may try the tps thing soon though if it persists

Ive just had the same call answer hang up instantly thing happen to me too happening about 4 5 times a day now gettin frigged off with it tryed contactin them no joy grrrr

I don't answer numbers that I don't recognise. This number just called my mobile and I cut it off straight away. I doubt it's from a proper company. If it was from a proper company then the way they treat 'customers' and how they collect information is incredibly bad. On the other hand, knowing that my name, telephone number and probably my home address is in their hands worries me. How could the law let them do this? So I guess it's a sick group that used someone else's name to get genuine information from YOU (who knows what they are going to do with your details!), or earn money by YOU calling them back. So don't give out your information to them!

It is a loan company,
If ever you have a number just ring it as late as you can about 11pm.
some times it will say who they are and ask you to leave a message but some do not even say who they are just to leave a message

they called me today, called me last week, and the week before. i might give the business preference thing a go next time they call.

though he said it was for the b.e. group of companies, different to the d&l one above, told him someone rang last week on the same number and proceded to tell me that there are a multitude of companies that call from the same number, what a crock!

anyway, tps is next on the agenda.

This number rang me today, and as i had loads of problems last year with one of these typ of numbers, i didn't answer. Not sure if the Telephone Preference thing works though, as i signed up to this last year after having the threaten another company with OFTEL, and i still get calls from dodgy numbers!

I've just received a phone call. She sounded Indian. She kept on trying to confirm my name which I did not do. She said she was responding to my enquiry but that was clearly a lie. She reluctantly said the company name was D&L. But she asked my no less than 10 times what my name was. Very annoying, as I had received about 10 silent calls from her before.

I rung them back and shouted stop phoning me, lets see if they get the message

Decided to answer this call, they said they were calling from B & E group of companies and that they had sent me a letter recently about how they could help me reduce my outgoing monthly payment. She was quite unprofessional as the sound kept goin in and out almost as if she was reading out terms and conditions that she didn't want me to hear!!! she asked if i was dealing with any debt, i said iwas but i was quite happy and it wasn't something i would be interested in. Let's see if they try calling again!

Ive just had a call from this number starting 008700845794 why the extra 0 ?
Its getting annoying now, i too dont answer calls that i dont know the number and have just registered my number on TPS.

Hopefully this will stop the calls !

Hi this number has called me everyday for the past 3 weeks.  I have now joined tps so hopefully it will all stop.

Keeps ringing. Says they are finacial services - chasing un paid debts? Apprently when you speak to the debt advice centre they are well known for saying anything to get money out of you - so becareful. Ignore the calls.
