come on people there must be some more people out there with something against OE and the moulsdale cowboys, they are out there damaging peoples lifes so get postinng and help stop them, can this post please be left in hear, not removed like the last few i have posted

Loads of folk who have swallowed the empty reassurances of these scum and who will only find out it is lies when the symptoms just don't improve or get worse. Not to mention when the visual improvements regress back to the beginning.

URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL OPTICAL EXPRESS PATIENTS:

If you're now 3 years post op with no improvement, were kept in OE's Harley St 'Complex Case' clinic aka 'The Waiting Room', strung along with promises from Stephen Hannan, Jan Venter, David Teenan, David Mungall et al, that there was "no problem", they'd "fix your eyes", etc...  PLEASE read on!!

Two legal teams have now agreed that the "date of knowledge" must be considered.

This means, if you were assured your eyes COULD be fixed after OE messed them up, you had no reason to believe otherwise!  

Therefore, the day YOU realised there was nothing more they could do is YOUR "date of knowledge"!

The Patient Consent Form is another issue being examined, as it seems very few people have ever been "fully informed" of the risks & possible outcomes!  Nor given any factual statistics for retreatments etc...!

Optical Express could now be facing Class Action litigation from countless numbers of patients!

About time OE pays for ruining lives in the interest of profit for owner.
If you buy  goods from a shop ur entitled to a refund under the Sale of Goods Act if they are not 'fit for purpose' and yet you can enter into a contract with OE for the provision of a medical service and they appear to think that  a)they can take payment to to operate on someone who is unsuitable by not proffering the appropriate information b)they can fend off legal action by stringing them along with promises of remedial actions beyond the 3 year limitation imposed by EITHER date of injury OR Date of Knowledge(I think they have presumed no one would twig on this one!) and c) that it is somehow not immoral to profit at any cost to the well being of trusting patients who understandingly presume that OE are acting with integrity..........and all this with impunity!!

I get the feeling that the laser eye surgery bubble is about to burst. These cowboy companies like Optical Express are trying everything to claw the last few patients into their lair before the explosion. Even got Union Jack posters with "from £395 per eye" in their windows. From £395 if you actually have such a low prescription that laser eye surgery isn't really required and for the rest £1495 an eye for the spurious benefits of "wavefront" and laser flap cutting. Non of that matters if they don't even centre your eye properly!

Presumed marketing ploy of using the Union Jack is to tap into the Olympic 'feel good factor'. Just one thing OE may have failed to recognise.....that the ethos of the Olympic Games is to bring people together in the spirit of FAIR PLAY. Can't see where FAIR PLAY enters into OEs corporate 'tactics' ???

Vision for a better life. So if we break that down. You have a "better" life with better vision. A moral and philosophical nightmare in a few words. Somehow captures the essence of Optical Express.

My mother REALLY has cause to complain about her eyesight also. I have had to watch her struggle to cope with the debilitiating effects of eye surgery over the last 2 years. As we all know, not all cases are the same although I feel it is very ignorant for someone to try make one case sound worse than the next. I'm pretty sure that each individual experiencing the effects of surgery feel very alone and vulnerable.

I was most certainly not trying to "make one case sound worse than the next", simply pointing out that the American girl in the YouTube video has nothing to complain about, using "Jenni's story" to highlight my point!

These bandits must be stopped from damaging more people's eyes and they're high pressure sales tactics are nothing more than what you would expect from a double glazing door-to-door sales person.

Moulsdale is nothing more than a door-to-door salesman who has come into some money.
