Had a call from 08719860475 @19:17 hours 14/09/11. Caller had an Indian accent and asked for Mr Chapman.....Just said "wrong number" and hung up! (I was in a good mood!) Must be a scam 'cos I'm ex-directory and my name isn't Chapman!
Couple of days ago got an Indian (?) lady saying I had trouble with my computer: must have been a scam 'cos no problem with it! Told her to GO FORTH AND MULTIPLY but I don't think she understood!

I think that same people colling an offering loan propably Indian nationality

Had a call from this number today - claims to be "Uk Lifestyle Survey.  I said "No thanks" and hung up.

I am ex-directory and have been registered with TPS for many years so scam or not they had no business dialling me.

fed up with them keep asking "Mr Harding or Mrs Harding" I have told them personally to stop BOTHERING me!!!!!!!

They keep asking for Mr Harding and I have told them several times there is NO such person here (ex-directory)

This number was retrieved from my 1471 phone. I called back and was told they were the One Stop Loan Shop. I made it quite clear that the call was regarded as a 'nuisance call' and instructed that my number be removed from their list if they have one and added that any repeat would be followed by an official complaint thro' consumer protection

Just tried the phone number for the one stop loan shop, and surprise surprise the phone number has been disconnected, didn't give any money to them, was on phone 4 3 minutes, to be connected to an operator, I'm Lucky, that was saturday & sunday, going to FSA to make them aware

We had a call from this no 08719860475  today 5/10/11 said  he was from personal loan  fianace indian man  wanted my husband to give his 16 digit card no . When  my hubby said no  to indian  man,my husband said that this was a way to take money out of our account.SO BEWARE IT'S  A SCAM. People  csn put money in an  account   by  sort code  and    account   no but  cannot take  money out of your  account . Please pass yhis messsge on to other  people  thankyou

Had a call from these a few days ago but didn't answer it in time.
Rang again this evening and when i answered and said hello they put the phone down. Charming!

hello these are the people from india ... remember this is not the loan !!!!! must first send a contract! and you sign if you are happy just remember to check the company address is a fictitious company sometimes ... not sent from your bank account to the account of any money for them

Took a call from this number.  Asked me to answer some 'UK Lifestyle' questions, with yes/no response.  Asked purpose of the questions, was told it's a survey.  Hung up.

Foreign sounding geezer asked my name and asked if I could spare a few mutes and told him NO and put the phone down.
Believe we have had calls from this number before even though we are registered the the telephone call preference service.

I was asked to do a survey. I told him I was registered with TPS and rang off.

I had a call this afternoon from an Asian sounding woman who said she was doing a Cosmetic Survey and started asking me questions. I asked her what it was all about and if it was a scam sham  survey. she hung up without another word.the phone number she called from was 0871 986 0475

I subscribe to the TPS (Telephone Preference Scheme), which is supposed to safeguard me from receiving 'cold calls' from UK based organisations.  This was Indian based and was inquiring about my life assurance cover.

just hang up as no answer when answered [***]

i got a call today from them as i have asked for a loan of 5000 when i have asked him for his number he said he cant give it to me but he was like i will definatly get my money if i just go get ukash with 140 pound and i didnt knw what it was about so i just needed the loan really bad so i just lost my money for the 140  it was a scammm :(
he did sound asian man .

Had a call from this number a few minutes ago. Asked to speak to my partner by name. Sounded Chinese. Told them he wasn't here. Another crank call.

Had a missed call from this number. But they were polite enough to leave a message on my answer phone! It started with some singing then a chap with an Indian accent said something which I presumed to be in his native language. Hope he didn't say anything rude on it as I don't speak the language! I'm registered with TPS and ex-directory so would love to know where they got my number from
