they said i have approved a loan for 2000 and i need to pay them 30 for security.

Don't do it.  Have they asked you to pay by Ukash or Western Union voucher?  If you pay them, they will ring again and ask for more money, for "taxes" or some such rubbish.  If you pay that they may ring again asking for more money for some other false reason.  You will never get the loan and when you try to ring them they will either hang up the 'phone or the number will have disappeared. These people have stolen money from many many people. Never, ever pay money first to get a loan.

So called loan companies who ask for upfront payment then dont follow through with the loan, i thought it was real as i had applied online, i gave my details over the phone to one when told my credit rating was so good i had been accepted,It wasnt till later it dawned on me that it was a con as i know my credit rating is terrible due to being screwed in a divorce,  i quickly cancelled my debit card at the bank  preventing them from taking money from my account.
I get loads of calls from different companies,luckily my mobile has a reject list so i just put there number in there and each time they call it instantly gets blocked.
Remember this phrase used in the tv programme - REAL HUSTLE

I applied last night for 7500 they phoned me and said they take 40 pound for security and I will receive documents tomorrow to sign. So will let u know what happens

I also received a phone call from this company claiming to be the personal loan centre.. it was a foreign guy who i couldnt understand, he was talking very fast and was very eager to get his information about my loan across.. when he asked for my bank details i stopped him and said i would like to ask a few questions about the company before proceeding which is fair enough if im going to be getting a loan and paying them back every month. He did not like the fact i was asking him questions but let me anyway. i asked if there were any upfront fees before i received the loan to which he replied ' no because we are a direct lender we do not charge anything for you to receive this loan' i eventually gave him my details and went through the process (remember i am a broke student in need of a loan). at the end he said 'ok so we are going to send you out your contract to sign and charge you £30 today to receive it. I replied saying i asked him at the start if there were any upfront fees and you said no so your company lied to me' he then went on to read something on his screen atleast 5 times i asked him to take my information off his computer and cancel my loan he said no im not cancelling your loan you must take this out because you have already agreed to it, he hung up on me and phoned back atleast 5 times. I am very angry and was rudely spoken to, as i do not have any money in my bank he cant take it out and i have cancelled my card to stop this from happening.. but be warned they are rude seem to always be the same man and is very persistent..

Just had a text and I rang them up stupidly went through all details and informed me it was a guaranteed loan but to cover the cost of the money transfer and document posting via courier I needed to pay £30.00 up front I did not do this and I told them I would do this within the hour, I have no intention of doing this in fact I am going to the bank to close my account as this is the 3rd scam this week

the police are sayin it is a legitamate company called loads to loans but they is no company registered under that name and the phone calls i recieved said they were the personal loan centre how do they get our numbers im registered with the tps and i have changed my number and bank details yet they still have all details how are they doing this DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY THEY ARE A SCAM

i applied for a loan online and was called by the personal loan center to say my loan was approved and after stupidly giving all my details was charged 40 pound for the agreement to be sent out within 24 hours. i have not recived any thing a week later and when i ring i get put on hold for ages then the phone cuts off, i am now concerned that my identity and bank details are at risk can anyone advise me what i should do next. is this company real or a scam as i cant find any information about them

As you can see from the other posts on here, it is a scam.  They are using the name of a genuine UK company but they are in India.  You have lost the money you paid them, but be thankful it is not more.  One of their tricks is to ring again and ask for more money for "taxes" or some such rubbish, before they can give you the loan.  If you pay that you will lose that money as well.  Another thing they do, if you ever do manage to get through on the 'phone, if you ask to cancel and get a refund. They will tell you it will cost £x for them to process the refund and will take 90 days.  If you pay, you will lose that money as well.  All you can do is cut your losses and don't be fooled again.  Action Fraud advice is never to pay an up-front fee as no reputable company would ever ask for one.

I am not daft enogh to pay any money to anyone calling from an 0871 number. I also would not be daft enough to call the number, or daft enough to call them numerous times.
I'm not visiting this website again so say what you want.

A company run by Pakistani individuals who will try to con you of £20.Don't fall for it.They are scum.I ring them every day to tell them this,but they are still operating.please hang up if they ring you.

Just had a phone call from these. When I said I wouldn't be giving any bank details just for a loan match the guy hung up on me. Blatant scam. I got told the were the Personal loan centre claiming to be non-profit, with the website www.personalloanmatch.co.uk so I'm avoiding both. Also avoid anyone calling on 01614767804.

I went to the "one stop loan shop" for a small loan of 1500  for deposit and first months rent on a flat and they said once i paid the £30 security deposit "which is totally refundable" i'd recieve a call 2-5 working days later to discuss repayment rates and if i was happy they'd send me the paperwork and i'd have the money - that was 1month and 4 days ago - and i havent heard from them, i've phoned them over and over and keep hearing please wait 3-5 days, its an unsecured loan so its not quick, someone will be in touch in 3 - 5 days :( i have the flat, a friend paid first months rent and the landlord let us move in without a bond because we thought we were having this loan and could just pay it once we get it - now i owe a friend £500 and my landlord £500 i phoned yesterday and said if it wasnt sorted right away i was going to make a formal complaint, i was put on hold for 20 mins so i hung up, called right back and spoke to someone else who hung up on me :( i hate these people!

had several calls from an indian guy called alex said i had been approved for a £1000 loan all i had to do is wait for the paperwork to turn up and pay a deposit of £30 me like a fool paid it this was before xmas
i have phoned up a frew times and they never ring you backor just hang up

this company just phoned me to . wanted all my bank details etc i said this sounds very fishy anf hung up on them .the alarm bells rung st8 away when he said is name was mark smith , but this guy was def asian and name probably mustapa minute . SO BEWARE THIS COMPANY TOTAL SCAMMERS .

Got a call from 0871 986 0475 just now. It's a work line and registered with the Telephone Preference Service so they shouldn't be calling me anyway. I didn't get to the phone in time and they didn't leave a message.
