Receiving 2 calls a day ( 1 in the morning, 1 in the afternoon) from this number.  They always hang up when i answer.  I tried to phone the craftmatic company and they were horrible would not help at all - they would not give me the details of the callcentre they use - all I wanted my number removed from their list and to find out how they got my number. Very annoyed.

I have received a call from this number 5 minutes ago and they reckon I had been entered into a competition for a bed or something?! She reckons she was from an adjustable bed place I think. Anyway... she told me that they only obtain numbers from people giving it to them as they run competitions in shopping centers and supermarkets and if it wasn't me that gave them my number it must have been a friend or family member. Too bad my family who are the only ones who have my landline number never give it out. Plus I have a private number... so I am one unhappy camper!

im also recieving these annoying calls but i can never answer them on time! im getting at least 2 a day and its driving me insane!

Received call - when I answered they hung up.  Did not hear a person, just background noise.

I keep getting calls from this bed mob who claim I have won a chance to win a bed?? WTF? I must be super lucky as I keep getting selected for all these opportunities. Too bad I never actually win anything - like the bed itself, just the chance to win something. I wish they'd [***].

Me too. These guys have been ringing me at 3 -4 times a day but I never get to answer it on time. i have called them back late at night only to get an aswering machine not identifying who they are.
Receiving these calls are sooooo annoying. Wish they would bugger off and shove their beds!

I've been getting weekly calls from these bed people for some 6 months. It's gotten to the point of being nothing less than harrasment. So I've put a complaint into the do-not-call website. I'd advise everyone to do the same. Then something maybe done about them.

I also get regular calls from this number and would like them stopped. I tried ringing 3 to get the number blocked but they just said go to the police.

I've been receiving calls from this number for the past 2 weeks, around 1-2 a day on my mobile. As my phone is always in my pocket, I just hit the end call button when it starts to ring now as the number is always displayed. They haven't given up yet & by the sounds of everyone elses experience it doesn't sound as if they're going to.

i received calls from this number twice this morning at 9am something, and it freaked me out!! luckily i saw this website. I just blacklisted the number, hopefully they won't call again!

Been getting calls from this number for several weeks and as they only let the phone ring 3 or 4 times I keep missing the calls.   Tried to call back, got a message bank which disconnects before a message can be left.    Finally googled the number which led me here to all of you and then on to Craftmatic which have a 1800 number.    Called them on 1800 886 168 a couple of times and actually got an answer 2nd time (Lola).   Explained to her what has been going on and she said it was their automated call centre making the calls.   I asked for my number to be removed from the list and she said she'd advise the call centre manager to do so.   Also advised her of all the complaints on this site since 2008 and suggested they should have a look.

ring back told to leave a message and at the end press "pound sign" sounds ?UK or some country using pounds

This number 08 8243 9200 has to be traced and identified. Nobody knows who or what company is doing this. It could possibly be scammers at work. Who knows? This number source is becoming a nuisance and should be stopped or at the very least, the source identified and made public.

Yes, this 08 8243 9200 could be pranksters(with very little grey matter) or worse still, scammers trying to tap into personal files, working hard at trying to siphon money from the unsuspecting public. I strongly urge the authorities to hunt and track the source of this number rather than rest on our laurels and brush it under the carpet. Always an answering machine prompting one to leave a message. At least knowing the source of this number could lead into ascertaining wether its just Bart Simpson fooling around or some crafty scammers.

The 08 82439200 number has been forwarded to police for verification of authenticity. Some lady appears to be trying to get people interested in winning a free bed valued at $1000/-. Or is she trying to con everyone?

I answered. The company name was Venergy and the consultant was Vicki. She tried to sell me solar panels by providing free light bulbs in exchange for attending a marketing presentation. I declined.
