Called this morning. Addressed me by an incorrect title and told me they were from Craftmatic and that I had won a bed. Didn't let the guy finish telling me about it

Its craftmatic, telling me I have been randomly selected to win an adjustable bed worth $12K.
I told them to take my number off the register and never call again.
They havent rang in 4 days now, so maybe they got the message...

Just got a new mobile number, so no one knew it yet but i recieved a call from this number (08 82439200)  have had 5 calls between the 16th, november 2010 and 23rd, november 2010... all i hear is background noise

I am glad I decided to google this number before returning the call.
I am going to contact Vodaphone to see if I can block the number.
Will let all know if it can be done.

This number keeps calling me and  leaves a recorded message with no name. this is very annoying and they should be stopped doing this

I have just started receiving calls from this same number, I have had three calls today already and one last night. I have not answered any of these calls but if anyone knows a way to stop these scam/marketing calls, please let me know. I did have a thought, although they have privacy settings, could this be related to Facebook or Skype i.e. this company has managed to collect our contact numbers from these online networks? Any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.

How can we stop this

Called 1800 886 168, got through to craft market australia. went to voicemail and then to hold pattern no answer.

Just answered 0882439200, and they said that I had won a bed of some sort and that they wanted to come out and have a chat with me and my partner

I also received a missed call from this number which I didn't answer.  I called back and there was an answering machine to leave a message.  Glad I didn't answer.

I keep getting this number ringing me!
No response when I answer, until last week, an Italian woman answered and acted as if I had rung her and just acted dumb!. It rang again just now, again, silence!
I have a Vodafone number, at present unavailable to be used for outgoing calls (has been for 2 months now), so is hardly used. This caller is persistent!

well...looks like i join the cue ... had calls from this number too...you talk to no one and you get the answering machine if you do.... go figure.. idiots..hope they get lost soon...

I've been receiving calls to my mobile phone from this number for a few months now. I have never answered them because I don't answer calls from numbers that I don't recognize. This appears to be a scam - if you ring back you are charged $3.00 for making the call - check your phone bill.  There was a similar scam running last year - the number had an 02 prefix - from memory they were hitting people for $5.00 whenever their phone call was answered. I'm with Telstra. There are a number of ISDs involved in relation to this situation, which makes me think that the common denominator is some website or other forum where we are all putting down our phone numbers. I'm pretty paranoid about putting my phone numbers on any website. It's certainly not on facebook. Vigilance on our part is looking to be the only answer until someone in authority land extracts a digit and does something meaningful with these clowns.

We keep getting this number ringing our mobile - always hangs up just as you go to answer (at the best it only rings 3 times) Dont know this number and dont want it calling anymore.  Someone else has posted that this is a scam when you reply to this missed called you are charged a high rate.  Beware.

This number is a common caller to our listed number. No answer on picking up ... just 'beep-beep-beep'. Very annoying.

These idiots called yesterday twice and day before twice, all missed calls no messages left, no way to identify when calling back.
