We have calls from this number six times a day we stopped answering it two weeks ago and still remain to get calls from the number. Any ideas how to stop or report them.

Calls 4 to 6 times a day now bought truecall and have just set it up. Now they can call and waste there time all they like

I got 3calls in the one day I work night shift  and get woken up I have asked them to stop phoning me and I stil get calls. I stil get 2/3 calls a week I contacted the police now I get al my calls recorded but I tail get calls.

a foreign person called me 5 minutes ago from this number i said hello,he said hows your day i said fine then my litlle girl was saying something in background he then said to me can i speak to your baby??? i said wtf kinda question that and who are you?? it went dead at this point?? weirdos does anyone know who these weirdos are??

Number phones several tims a day but thats what happpens when greedy corporations sell your details on to third partys, most UK citizens personal information is stored on indian servers, thats the reason why we get these calls. All this hassle for us cos governments and corporations want to save a few pennys.

last couple of days we have been getting about 5 a day silent calls and 091148 is the number when you dial 1471. Any one know if you can stop receiving/block these calls as we are a business and it is tying up a member of staff answering the phone.

091148 has been ringing me as much as 3 times a day for 2 weeks. Number not known when I ring back. Late last night I answered the phone and all I got was Hallo Hallo sounded east end not foreign then it went dead.

Had calls every two hours for last two days always silent. this is driving me mad

just had this number call again, man said he was from Lifestyle Surveys, told him I was with TPS an he said they had permission to call me

2 calls this afternoon from 091148, both times the phone was put down after I said hello, but this was the number on 1471.

3 calls from this strange number today. First one I let go through to answer machine but they hung up, not leaving any message. 2nd & 3rd calls I just picked up and hung up immediately. Getting fed up now of the hassle. Time to invest in a truecall call blocker. Why should we have to pay £100 to get some peace and quiet?
Anyone else got any feedback from using truecall or cpr call blocker?

Hi, I am a nurse working shifts, and constantly receiving these calls from 091148 at all hours, I have read several comments on this sight, but have not found a resolution to this problem ? IS THERE ONE ? ? ?  As that is the ONLY THING i would be interested in reading ? Its  no use reading everyone else,s problems with this number, A solution to this problem is wot is needed to stop these calls !

i have just paid £43 to stop all calls like this on optout uk. I no its a lot  but my husband works nigths  so at least he gets a good days  sleep x

Not having heard of OptoutUK before, and wondering if they would be any good, I have done a bit of research. On their website, there is no address, although they are mentioned as Private Investigators in Leeds on a Business Directory website.  They claim to have been in business for ten years and there are a number of review sites.  These, however, are all OptoutUK websites. On the Review Site it gives Archive years from 2004 to 2013.  However from 2004 until October 2012 the "reviews" are merely reprints of various media reports, i.e. Which, the ICO etc.  Actual "independent" reviews do not appear until October 2012.  Here again you get several "reviews" on the same days within 2 minutes of each other.  Did you contact them via their website or did they cold call you?  There are several companies out there which claim to stop calls for a fee when, in fact, they either sign you up to TPS, which is free, or do nothing at all.  If this is a service and not a call blocking unit it will be difficult, if not impossible for them to stop International, Withheld, or Unavailable Number calls, which seem to be the majority these days.  If tis particular service works for you please let us know.

This number calls and hangs up why!!!!!

I have had this number call 3 or 4 times a day for the last week I haven't answered and wont be doing so either after reading the previous comments, thanks to you all who posted.

Have been having this call over pass couple of days. Again an " Indian accent".

None, they didn't respond when I answered.
