Had 5 phone calls from this number in the last 24 hours that I know to. One was at 2am this morning and another at 5am, every time the phone is dead when answered!

call 0800 008 6000 and press option 2 for customer care and ask for your number to be took off there system I just did it so im waiting to see if they have done this. Good luck.

Got phoned at midnight last night. And again at 2:40 am, and then again at 5:40 am.

Over the last 24 hours I have received 3 calls from this number, first on at 11pm, second at 3 am in the morning and the third at 0602. Really fed up with this and now going to take it further. when you get calls in the middle of the night you think that something is wrong.
I know that it is a job for them but come on this is now beyond a joke

Hi, had the same issue myself last night/this morning. Joke ..............not funny.

Am receiving loads of calls from this number.  It rang me 4 times from 11.30 p./m. with the last call at 2.30 a.m.  When I check 1471 each day when I come home from work there is a call from them earlier on.  No one answered on any of the late night calls, must assume that it is so automated that there is no one there!!!

keep getting a call from 091148 i answer it but they keep hanging up on me

had call from 091148 on answerphone twice did answer one but did not say anything just listened and no one spoke it just hung up

Getting several calls a day from this number.  I screen all my calls on my answer phone but this number never leaves a message.

I have had calls from this number as well as 039393939 but they are for differing purposes.  From sending out a 'wirus' on my PC to PPI to claiming for my recent accident (which I haven't had) to debt consolidation.  

I did have a play with one of them who wanted the details so he could remotely access my PC and make the necessary amendments to my registry and suchlike.  I confirmed I too was a tech and if he would give me remote access to their system, I would sort mine out myself.

He hung up.

The other one which has got rid of a few of them - my daughter tells them I have died.  Anonymous calls were the problem

This number is appaling, it erings severakiems a day, is very hard to cut off.  How do I srtop it calling?

Indian accent called himself Simon!  told me I had had a loan and paid interest.  said he was from claims management ministry of justice.  here is what I do every time:
never confirm you name - always interrupt and ask who they are calling on behalf of;
ask another three times (at least) in a loud voice who he is calling on behalf of;
do not confirm any details he gives you - just say pardon at least 4 times;
then ask how he knows you have had accident/loan/ppi/claim etc - again just keep coming back to it - again at least 5 times;
ask who the runs the company - at least three times
after you have kept him on phone for at least 4/5 minutes - ask him if you can speak to his supervisor! keep asking this - they try everything but you never get put through!
end result - mention Data Protection Act - they then hang up and you have not confirmed any details - but you have run up their phone bill!

Get yourself a Truecall system, I did now these calls are a thing of the past for me.  I am NOTHING to do with Truecall, I'm just a very satisfied customer.  I'm checking this tosser out for work, because we get so many each day from people like this.  The firm won't buy Truecall because they're too tight, so we have to put up with these nuisance calls all day!

This number called three times yesterday and said nothing when we answered. I shall be looking closely at my phone bill and reporting them to my provider.

well yet again another call from this number - 091148 - my landline is ex dir and am on the TPS list.  Telling me I have a PPI claim (which I have now had any thing to have PPI on)  When I told the caller this he said no no its defo you, (well no its not!!!)

I get over 20 calls from number's daily, unreal :s

I have caller-id on my phone - I never ever answer calls from unknown numbers - if they are important, they'll leave a message.   Maybe I miss out on "free" holidays and so on - but I sincerely doubt it and the little bit I pay for caller ID is well worth it.   Peace!

Called me yesterday & today - don't answer as number is suspect as above comments show.

Said something about a  loan,  and that they were calling people who had filled out a lifestyle survey when I asked where they got the number from.  they are obviously using phone book to get information,  caller hung up when I challenged some of the info they thought they knew.
