This is the second call I've received on my (UK) mobile from +10000000000. The first time I was abroad so rejected the call.

This time I answered (out of curiosity) and it seems to have placed me into a conference call, as I heard a woman's recorded voice saying "you are the only participant in this call".

What could this be about? I'd better not be charged anything for accepting this call!

Just received a call from 10000000000, that was on the Caller ID. I had JUST activated Vonage's "Anonymous Caller ID" block by pressing *77. Well, that number is getting through. What to do?

It could be anyone calling you from this number.  They have apps on your phone now where you can spoof your number to basically be whatever number you would like it to be.  My husband had it on his phone and would prank call his friends pretending to be their work, as the caller id came up their work number even though it was him calling from his cell.
I am sure that telemarketers and other businesses would also have access to do things like this.
I have actually had a few calls from this number once was a collections agency, other time it was a political call, as stated above.
It's just a ploy to get you to pick up, really...

Yeah, that called me but I was in the shower so when I got back to my phone I called it and they told me that I wasn't authorized to make that call in this area.

Freaky, but now I don't feel alone.
