Contact your state's attorney general. Most will have an online form you can fill out, or you can call them. They call me, I don't answer, they immediately call back. I have reported them each time they call, and have finally blocked the number.

Just now got a call from this number and all that showed on the caller id was 1036. Kept saying hello, hello.. no one there.. so I hung up.. Won't answer it next time.. So love this site for checking on these idiots.

Got a call from this company this evening (March 23). Woman was Indian with a very thick accent and claimed my computer's services were running poorly and needed to be restarted. Asked if I owned my computer several times to which I finally responded "mmm. Maybe." At the end of her shpeel, I angrily told her that 1) she's calling from India with an accent no one can understand, 2) my install of Windows is fully legal, and 3) she's calling a private cell phone in the middle of the god damn [***] night. She proceeded to hang up on me. Good riddance.

I have received calls from 1036 and other short phone numbers. As below they are scammers. Block as many numbers that you do not recognize and they will eventually give up. I have done so even though Verizon does not block anything I found that Panosonic phones can and will block up to sixty numbers. Hope this helps some people.

Received a call from 1-1036 @ 7:23p.m. & did not answer my machine. Funny thing they didn't leave a message either. I just didn't like the weird looking phone number and decided to look it up. I found ALL the other complaints and decided to post mine as well.

Answered a call today (16/04/2015) without looking, stupid thing to do I know. It was an asian lady who claimed that I had paid them (could not understand the 'companies' name) £49 to stop nuisance calls to my phone, i have not, obviously as I don't know who the hell they are. Bit of a twist, they are not a nuisance then? Obviously wanted money, bank details and the like, did not get anything, sounded disappointed, bless,not quite the muppet you thought I was then. SCAM-SCAM-SCAM  Beware sometimes it cost to receive international calls and some people have said this number calls from America.

I ignored the call from this number having an odd feeling and decided to see if anyone else had received a call from the same number....

The number 855-331-3780 needs to be checked out too. I have a strong feeling it is connected with the 1036. I was having a problem with a eBay account and I googled eBay support and I got this number and they told me I was being hacked and they needed to get in my computer to fix it. After that I started getting 1036 calls.

Got a call from1036 under the pretense to be calling about my computer. I told him I didn't have a computer and he hung up. this is a repetitive call also.

Continues calling from 1036....sometimes 036 and sometimes 000-0000. I never answer and they never leave a message. Very annoying. I am registered in "do not call" registry for cell phones but doesn't seem to matter.

I've been called this morning. Blocked the caller immediately after reading all your posts.

It never seems to matter what I tell them. They just keep calling back. I've told them I use a Mac and not Windows. I've told them I' use Linux and not windows.
And I've told them to be like David Carradine and go "screw" themselves and die.
It doesn't seem to matter. Blocking them doesn't work either. The numbers they are using are spoofed anyways so they just call back on a different spoofed number.
Microsoft will never call you So just hang up on them.

I get a call once a month from 1036. Everytime I answer no one is there. Drives me insane.

Have received 2  calls from this number this weekend - both foreign gentlemen claiming to work for Microsoft.  Wanted access to my computer as it was having trouble in the background.  I told 1st guy no I didn't trust him - he said - "why so much distrust in the world"  Then I hung up on him - I did not even let the 2nd one finish his spiel.
